The project involved replacing a critical 6x6 support post that had rotted at the base and was causing the deck to lean. As you can imagine, this situation had me seriously concerned about both safety and potential long-term damage. Mr. Ellis understood the urgency and approached the job with confidence, professionalism, and care. From start to finish, Mr. Ellis and his assistant were prompt, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to cut out the old concrete, inspect and secure the footers, and replace the post properly—restoring both the structural integrity and my peace of mind. "I am having a truly unpleasant experience with 7th State Builders. I paid 14,450.00$ deposit in good faith. They were contracted to rebuild my deck, place a roof structure and screen on the deck. I trusted that they would complete the work. Instead, they took my money and one year later had not even started on the project. Not only did they fail to perform the agreed-upon services for the deck, but I was forced to hire an attorney to try and recover my deposit. Which I haven?t yet (over one year). Thus, creating unnecessary expenses to an already frustrating situation. I would strongly advise against using this company.
