"Everything about FDC is top notch. They consult on the work that needs to be done, color selection, and different options. Their price quotes are detailed and broken out so you select portions of the work if you desire. Quotes, correspondence, questions are all handled in a very timely manner and by email. Their crews are very friendly and professional. Their prep work, painting, and clean-up are the best I've experienced. I am very impressed with FDC and plan to use them this fall for additional interior painting. I highly recommend this company."

"George and his crew did an outstanding job! They were prompt, courteous, professional and really seemed to enjoy their work. George came to meet with us to estimate the work and provided us a quote within 1 business day. From estimate to completion, the team completed the job in 5 business days.
After day 1 we didn't like one of the colors we had chosen after seeing it on the walls. We talked with George about it and he was very accommodating, and just wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final results. This was a big change, but George only charged us for the cost of replacing the paint.
Overall, we were extremely happy with the quality of the work and would highly recommend George's painting to others!

"They did such a very good job and even managed to repair an extra piece of siding at no extra cost since it was next to the piece that did need repairing. Very professional and they wore masks the entire time. I plan on using them always for any future repairs I may need on my siding, roof, and gutters."

"They repaired the roof and replaced the missing siding. Even though the siding was 20 years old, they were able to find a perfect match for it to look like it had always been there. After finishing the job, they cleaned up all the roofing materials that were taken off and took them away. My coworker needed work done and after this experience I have recommended Shingle Roofing to them.."

"EJALE Group, in the person of Evol Ewan, was extremely responsive. Evol made a site visit the same day I first called him. He is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, listens well, and takes time to explain and answer questions. We hired EJALE Group to do site prep and pour a concrete slab to receive a 2-car garage (by others). Our builder, who has very high standards, referred us to Evol and said his work was top-notch. The team performed excellent work in terribly hot and humid conditions. We'll hire EJALE Group for our next projects."

"Everything went very well. Had to take Miguel to home depot to get a few extra supplies. I had almost everything on hand for the work to be done but some simple extras were needed. Work proceeded on return and was completed without issue. Work took place in a friendly and cooperative manner."

"I purchased a big deal that was $199 for $400 worth of masonry, stucco or concrete work. I wanted them to repair/replace some missing bricks in my front porch and repair the mortar in my stone walk and steps. Turns out that they don't do any repair work; only new jobs, e.g. building a brick porch, laying a stone pathway, etc.. They didn't seem to know about the big deal so they had me talk to several people in their company for clarification. Even though I was disappointed, I have to say everyone I spoke to was very polite and apologetic about not being able to do the work. My impression was that I'd love to work with them in the future because of their professionalism and efforts to resolve the situation. I suggest that they ensure their advertising department talks to the rest of the company.

Stucco questions, answered by experts

Homeowners insurance may cover the cost of siding repair or replacement, but coverage depends on the cause of the damage. Most policies will cover damage from a covered event, such as a storm, wind, hail, fire, natural disaster, or other impact damage. Your policy might pay for the full or partial cost of the repair or replacement. However, damage resulting from age, general wear and tear, or neglect is typically not covered, and you should expect to pay for those repairs out of pocket. It is best to review your specific homeowners insurance policy for full details on what is covered, how to file a claim, and what documentation is required.

Cracks in the chimney can be very serious, depending on their location and size. Even small cracks can become serious over time if left unrepaired. Cracks allow heat and moisture to deteriorate your chimney and harmful carbon monoxide gas to seep into your home. Small cracks can often be caulked, while large cracked sections may require full replacement.

The average cost to repair stucco is about $1,600, with projects ranging from $250 for minor fixes to $6,700 for extensive work. The price is often calculated per square foot, typically costing between $60 and $120. Some professionals may charge an hourly rate of $40 to $50. The final cost depends on the extent of the damage, the type of stucco, your home's location, and whether there is underlying damage that also needs to be addressed.

Costs for specific repairs vary:

  • Cracks: $8–$20 per square foot

  • Holes: $250–$450 per hole

  • Water damage: $30–$50 per square foot

  • Chimney repair: $60–$120 per square foot

  • Recoating: $4–$5 per square foot

While you may be able to patch small cracks yourself, it is recommended to call a professional for major repairs to ensure the job is done correctly.

Quikrete will set without mixing. The process of pouring dry concrete into your concrete form and then adding water is called dry pouring. While this method makes pouring concrete simpler and easier, it reduces its strength and durability. It can be a viable option for small, decorative concrete pavers for walkways or for setting fence posts, but it’s not ideal for pouring slabs that will bear any significant amount of weight.

The cost to replace the chimney crown or top is about $1,550 on average. The range varies widely depending on the size of the chimney, the materials used, accessibility, and the extent of the damage. If you suspect a problem with your chimney top, call a professional masonry contractor for an inspection.
