"Glen and crew built us a fantastic deck and patio. Some of the issues that popped up were beyond Custom Worksâ control (e.g., wood and paver shortages) which pushed our time back from August to September (2021). Glen came with great suggestions and we used some of them and are very happy with the finished product. Glen also doesnâ t try to up-sale customers which you can find with other companies. For example, I inquired about Custom Works building a storage unit for the deck and he said he could but it would be less expensive just to order it from Amazon. Glenâ s son, Nich was great as well, he filled out the HOA paperwork that we had to submit to our approval committee. Thanks Glen and Custom Works, we are very happy with the overall job."

" We were recommended to DMV by a neighbor.  The initial meeting with Oscar was great.  He was able to meet around our schedules which helped a lot.  We went to the local showroom and also to the granite showroom in Virginia. A different gentlemen came to the house to do all the measuring.  As it turned out, we had some unusual counter configurations that didn't get completely translated to the cutters and installers.  This turned out to be very frustrating for the installers.  As a result of the miscommunication, some additional cutting and re-installing had to be done.  There were some additional miscommunications and some millwork that should have been done didn't happen.  However, as soon as we pointed these out to Oscar he sent in some millwork pros who worked long and hard and did a beautiful job.  In the end, we were really happy with the counters and all of the trim work.
