"A lightning strike caused our security system to become non-functional. UGSS assessed the system, replaced the main unit, control panels, door sensors, cameras and checked that the wiring and sensors worked througout the house.
UGSS sent out Andy to do the original assessment and then the first replacement visit. Due to the severity of the problem, multiple visits were necessary, which we agreed was appropriate. Andy did an awesome job with the installation and programming and taught us how to operate the new system. The remaining visits when similarly as well and we are happy with the work performed, the attitudes of the installers, and the site preservation/clean up. Ordering and scheduling through the main office was accurate and the team left informative voice mails when they couldn't reach us. Only suggestion we would make is to follow up directly with the office if you make a request of the technician. Between appointments, we realized that the technician had not remembered to let the office know of an additional item we needed to be ordered. It took longer then to complete the full job.

"After my posted query on Home Advisor, Gary King promptly replies and listened carefully to my concern. Although I was not seeking an alarm system, but rather a doorbell surveillance camera, he quickly set up an appointment. "Installer did a good job on installing ceiling fan with light kit. He was friendly and cleaned up after installation. Still working well 2 months later. The only things disappointing is that my initial phone quote was about $100 less than I was originally charged. I'm not sure if the difference was the labor I was charged to assemble the ceiling fan.
Recently, I was contacted by the Frederick Manager, Lou and he took care of my concerns. We discussed future job opportunities in my home. I would recommend this company for their good work and customer service."

"I had an excellent experience with Clinton Electric Co. overall and the electrician they sent, Eric Shipley. Communications before the visit were prompt, professional, and geared toward promoting confidence. Electrician was also courteous and professional throughout the visit, provided excellent communications as to expected costs and the diagnostic he was performing, and performed the work quickly and efficiently (tested the wiring, replaced electrical outlets, installed new circuit breaker, and tested to confirm all outlets and the dishwasher were working). Provided email with invoice before leaving the visit. Company communications practices geared toward safety and inspired confidence - dispatcher provided name of electrician before visit; company also texted and emailed photo of electrician prior to visit. Electrician wore mask and followed safe COVID-19 practices. I was very pleased and would use this company again, as well as highly recommend them."
