There was a set price - the movers were punctual on the moving day and the moving in day. Our household goods were handled with care. PREFERRED MOVERSHorrid. Pat was supposed to be there and left kids to move my things. Notations were made, saying all of my furniture was very worn and scratched. Huge damage upon delivery. No communication after. Lies! And yes....my things thrown down stairs, left on the street. Horrid. Leg broken off this piece and hidden.- heidi c.

Step By Step Moving and StorageQuoted price was much lower then charged price. For example storage was quoted at $300 then charged $500. Charges 3 hours for moving in and 3 hours for moving out of storage unit where it only took 2 hours to unload and unpack the truck into the house. Most disappointing part was driver of truck decided to run into one of my trees with the truck doing serious damage to a very old tree. Pay a little more and go with a quality company. Also, didn’t deliver a ladder during the move which they were clearly keeping. Took 2 weeks then the ladder magically appeared at the office.- Dustin T.

The guys walked into what was a stressful situation for the kids and me and took the moving piece and made it not only easy, but pleasant, as well. I never thought I would say such a thing about moving, but it's true. They are friendly, efficient, treated my kids like they are family and even reached out to check on us, knowing we are going through a difficult time. Excellent moving service and customer service that goes above and beyond. I recommend them to everyone because I think all moves should be as painless as Mastodon makes them.

The owner Kamaul Reid was a pleasure to work with. This is my third move with them, but the first out of state. It was seamless. They were super flexible, including getting a bigger truck at the last minute because I did not calculate perfectly. The staff working with Kamaul were exceptional. They showed a tremendous amount of care for each item and took pride in going above and beyond. They were professional, courteous, and super strong. I would highly recommend them for any type of move!

Find literally ANYONE else... PLEASE save yourself some stress & money by finding a better moving service... or, if you hire Lexel, keep expectations very low. 1. Don't expect to pay what you are quoted for -- Once Lexel had our things in their possession, our $2,400 quote interestingly enough became $4,200. No justification for the change, and nothing you can do when they have all your belongings unless you feel like hiring a lawyer. 2. Don't expect to get your things on time -- We gave Lexel 2-months notice for our move-in date and they provided a 10-day window for delivery (which was annoying, but fine). Nearing the end of that 10-day window, we had no update so we contacted Lexel... our things were delayed, should be there next week. Next week comes, no things. Delayed again, maybe next week... Our truck finally showed up 3 weeks late of our move-in while Lexel treated the situation nonchalanty with no recourse or refund. 3. Don't expect to receive your things in good condition -- Lexel's movers professionally wrapped and packed our sectional couch themselves. It showed up with wet, molded cushions and rust stains. Dented wine cooler. Scratched chairs and dressers. Our bar top bowed in the middle from so much weight being stacked on top. 2 shattered picture frames. Plenty more -- point being, they don't give a sh*t about your stuff once they're paid. It doesn't feel great bashing a company like this, but there have to be better options out there and hopefully you can find one.

Very disappointed. They moved half the stuff they were suppose to. When you make an appointment they ask for every little thing you are moving to size the truck. I told them what needed to be moved, they show up with a small truck for a 2 bedroom home and storage unit. Not even close to the proper size. I put everything in 2 rooms that needed to be on the truck, told them that specifically, numerous times they asked if that was it, while there were plenty of large things that still needed to be put on the truck. Felt as if the movers needed to be elsewhere. The truck was about full and still needed to go to the storage unit. I told the person when I called what I needed moved, only half was moved. I had to rent a truck the next day and move the rest myself! Very disappointing, especially when you pay $980 for half of your stuff to be moved. Also, they charge $25 just to move any appliance, on top of the fees they charge for everything else. When I called to voice my concern and situation, I was told it would be looked into and he would get back with me, here we are a week and a half later and not one response. It is one thing if a job was cheap and this happened, paying almost $1000 for a job half done, damaged furniture and time wasted is very disappointing and frustrating.

Absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations! Raimond's movers moved my wife and I from Boston, MA to Fredericksburg,Texas as if that's not challenging enough I had an entire maker space to move as well. Unlike other moving companies there were no transfers to other movers/contractors they drove my entire house's possessions as well as my maker space straight through to Texas!! My house was pretty straight forward, but we did have many pieces of heavy glass furniture which they skillfully disassembled and reassembled without incident. My maker space equipment was, however, WAY more delicate and included a 400 lb laser cutter with a water cooled glass laser tube in it that stuck out of one end (see photo). Once here in Texas and set up all my 3d printers and the laser engraver were in perfect condition no tweaking even needed. I have to admit I did not expect my laser tube and mirrors to stay in alignment, but somehow these guys were so gentle that my laser just worked right out of the truck not even one delicate mirror needed to be adjusted. These guys are like magicians. They were so respectful and professional that by the end I felt we were more like friends than business acquaintances. I highly recommend them to anyone that doesn't want the normal nightmare had with most other traditional moving companies I have used. Epic performance!!!! Hopefully I never have to move again, but if I do, I would fly these guys out here to execute the move.

Awesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!
