"Michael and his crew are very professional. Michael came out and gave me an estimate (which was final price) and was very through on what would be included in price. He seemed to be very accommodating as far as work that needed to be completed. I got quite a few estimates, but chose to hire MJ Masonry even though they were not the least expensive due to the way Michael carried himself. Crew worked very hard for 6 days to complete a retaining wall 60' long by 6' high. They were clean and courteous. The wall came out so nice I wish it weren't on the backside of property where no one can see. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend MJ Masonry."

Jim's crew came in, removed the shed and timber wall, and also removed an intact but inadequate stone wall extending from the backyard to the street, a total distance of around 40 feet. He replaced that entire length with a beautiful split-faced masonry wall and poured a new concrete walkway to improve access to the backyard. Jim is the ultimate professional. The walkway was an add-on to the original project scope due to some unexpected circumstances uncovered during excavation, but he explained this at length and took photos so I could see why the additional work was required. Melvin told me he could repair them for less than half the cost of replacing the stairs. the repaired stairs came out great. He told me he'd have them done in a week. He arrived at 8:AM every morning starting on 6/17 and finished today 6/21. He worked through all those days that saw temperatures in the upper 90's. I also want to give a shout out to Eddie's Iron Works. Melvin contracted them to design and install a beautiful wrought iron rail to complete the project.
