" The BBB rating for Shamrock is "F" which is their lowest rating; businesses with "F" ratings have unanswered or unresolved complaints that reflects a failure by the business (Shamrock) to deal with the causes of customer problems. I contacted the MA District Attorney's office who put me in touch with consumer advocate Deb Henderson to resolve my issue with Shamrock. She said that she spoke to the owner Carmelo Franco about my issue and said that Franco is uncooperative, therefore we are unable to proceed. I sued Carmelo Franco in Attleboro District Court for negligent work that had to be fixed by another company ($650.00), however the subpoena could not be delivered to the address the DA's office gave me, so the court dropped the lawsuit. You need the correct address of the defendant in order for the court to compel him to come to court, so Carmelo Franco is just a ghost that you will never be reimbursed by. "After Lowe's came to clean the dyer vents at my condo building, my dryer was no longer venting. I contacted them and initially they said they would send someone to check the vent. They then called back and said my vent was never clean because it was disconnected and they could not help me. This was strange because the dryer was working fine before they came. Also, in my trash there was foil tape that you would wrap around the vent. This made me think that they did try to clean the vent despite saying they did nothing. I contacted my management company who said there were never any previous issues with my vent. I called Lowe's back and told them this and they still insisted that they never touched it but would check with the technician. I looked into it my self and found that in the section of the vent between the dryer and the ceiling there was a mass of lint the size of a small animal (see the picture). It was so large that moisture from the dryer had also built up and flooded the bottom of the vent hose. The building manager was then able to clear another mass of lint from the section of the vent in the ceiling and the dryer then started venting to the outside. It was never disconnected like Lowe's said. It seems they started cleaning it and just jammed the dust all the way back to the dryer. Why they didn't finish removing it is a mystery. If they ever service my building again, I will refuse."

"Hired CT Complete Chimney in October 2020 to fix active chimney leak and rebuild chimney. Since work was done leaks have continued and worsen. We have reported leaks in four different times and no fix has been done. As the previous review pointed out, Owner- Nelson and Foreman Kevin are blaming the issue on the roof- There are no leaks anywhere in our home except for the chimney. Step flashing was not installed and the lead barely makes the roof line. When this was explained to both owner and foreman they are looking to add on extra charges for a job that should have been done from day one. As a homeowner and female, the most recent interaction with the owner Nelson and Kevin was disrespectful and unprofessional- hanging up the phone, yelling in public and believing that their conduct is appropriate is not acceptable. My request to have our chimney leak fixed is not unreasonable. That's what we hired them and paid them for. CT Complete Chimney refuses to address the issue while they claim to guarantee their work for 10 years. For anyone looking to do chimney work and repairs, I strongly advice not using this service. I will keep this post updated and hope that CT Complete Chimney Lic/Reg #0671257 located at 96 Dunham Place, Southington, CT commits to repairing the issues they have caused and for the owner Nelson and his foreman Kevin to treat their employees, homeowners and females with courtesy and respect."
