Bob Bedford founded Bedford Builders in 2003, after earning a degree in building construction and cabinet making from New England Institute of Technology and working with some of the greatest contractors and trades people in the region. While primarily focused on renovating one and two-family dwellings, Bob is experienced with historic renovation, commercial fit-outs and custom fabrication. Over the last two years, Kevin has done 1) a full remodel of our downstairs bathroom after our plumbing stack went out (beautiful work), 2) upgraded electrical in our unit (much safer), 3) replaced basement floor / rebuilt step (much safer), and 4) replaced kitchen counters and installed new sink and dishwasher in our upstairs bathroom (beautiful). Kevin and his team are always prompt, responsive, and do top-quality work. He works closely with Malone Plumbing (the best plumbers in PVD) and is one of the few contractors who are lead-certified and will also do as-needed work, which is important since you don't always need a full remodel, but do need the work to be lead-safe. He is respectful to our tenants (a big deal!). Big projects are expensive, but Kevin has always worked with us to keep things in budget and to trim pricing where possible. Highly recommended, would hire again."
