Rich is a great mechanic who is professional and his fees are more than fair. He has serviced and repaired my 2004 C7 Volvo for the last two years. One time I brought it in to his shop because the engine light was on. He diagnosed it with his computer, told me what it was and reset it. It took him about 20 minutes. When I asked how much he said no charge. Take your car to a dealer and see if they would do that. I’ve had him do other major repairs and have always been more than satisfied.

Great people over there. I went in to have the AC in my Volvo repaired and was expecting to pay over a thousand dollars. They were able to just shim the AC clutch and was ready for pickup a few hours after dropping it off. They only charged me for an hour of labor. For less than $100 my AC is working like new. I won't take my Volvo anywhere else!

Awesome service. Job done right. Told me nothing else was wrong with my car when he checked it over. Suggested oil change in future. I would return to this apparently honest shop again.

The code could not be cleared and indicated unusual problems. VOVO requested I take to the dealer for confirmation. Did not charge me.

Randy runs an incredible shop. It looks humble but he has vast experience with volvos and most importantly, is both prompt and honest. I have always been pleased with his work and availability, but when I recently has a fuel leak from a bad fuel pump he quickly diagnosed the problem and was quick to say that he thought it was under a factory recall (for a 2004 s60). He took it upon himself to run the VIN and confirm the pump was under recall. Not only was he honest in telling me this (I would have never known otherwise) BUT he also drove it over to the dealer for the free repair and picked it up so he could do the remaining work ($80). He has single-handedly restored my faith in mechanics.

I brought the car to Randy because of problems with my car's A/C, also told him I might have a leak ing the powere stering fluid. because we were a new customer Randy said he would check everything out to make sure there were no other problems. I was surprised at the extend of repairs and due to the amount I considered trading the car in rather then repairing it. Roger brought to my senses when he stated that the engine and car's body was in great condition and what I am going to buy for the price of the repairs. Had the car fixed and everything is working great.Would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I am new to the area and took my volvo to the dealer. I expected a premium price but didn't expect to have the salesperson laugh at me when I asked why labor costs were so high. After finding Randy at Independently Volvo on Angie's list, I called to ask for an estimate. After stopping by, they gave the immediate impression that they care about their customers and doing good work. I chose to have them do the work and couldn't feel better about my decision. The work wasn't and quot;complicatedand quot;, but nevertheless it was a relief to have the work done quickly, properly, AND they where flexible with my hectic work schedule.

We moved to fort myers in 1999 and they have serviced our cars from 2000 (since we found their shop) to the present. They have saved us from getting into the siutuation where you keep pouring money into an older model car. They told us to get a new car and saved us who knows how much money. A decision possibly costing them money in the future if we were to buy a different brand or get caught by the free service at dealership contracts that have become so popular. In other words, they looked out for their customers even if it cost them future business. Specifically, in the past 10 yrs and 3 different cars, they have diagnosed a transmission problem in my wife's car which would have led to many repeat visits or replacement of the transmission. They have worked on our cars whose models dated from the 1980s to the present - a water pump,hoses, oil changes, found and fixed engine problems( based on horrible customer descriptions of the problem or noises made by the problem), tires/allignment, timing belt, headlights- all the things that occur with cars with age. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. In the ten years of dealing with them I can honestly say that we have never had a problem with them. There are not many businesses you can say that about today.

I wish more businesses were like this business.
