But he reassured me that the bill would not go over the minimum ($140) even if he needs to spend more time. He was good to his word. He drove to Home Depot, brought back a really good fishing tool, crawled into that crawlspace at least twice, used the tool, rescued the lost wire pair, carefully connected and tested it, and cleaned up the mess. Bravo! I graded the job down by one star only because Evan didn't tell him enough in advance. Otherwise, perfect."

We recently built a 2nd floor on our cape in Milton and needed walls and ceilings in three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a hallway and stairwell. Bertie was prompt with his bid and was extremely flexible with his start date. He was finished with the entire job in less than four days, which was incredibly impressive. In addition, part of the demolition included tearing down two walls on the first floor and a strip of drywall by the front door. Without asking, Bertie fixed those as well and included them in the price. Furthermore, we are installing a pocket door and need to wait for that before drywall goes up, plus our plumber needs access to the shower before the durock goes up, and Bertie has already committed to helping us with those issues as soon as they are ready.
