"Roy was a lifesaver! On a Saturday night I realized my house keys went missing and I got an almost immediate response when I reached out. I made an appointment with him for the morning and he called 15 min prior to tell me he was on his way. When he arrived he was a few minutes early. Standard residential deadbolt locks come with a steel bolt that locks your door into place using a key (or keypad) on one side and a thumb turn on the other. When you lock it, the bolt slides into a strike plate on your door jamb to secure your door shut.

While deadbolts may be more expensive and complicated to install, they are cost-effective for the security they provide and are built to hold up to wear and tear.
