"Cabinet Cures did a great job from start to finish. Joe and John were very meticulous in doing all the pre-measuring all the way through the construction, including the very meticulous finish work, which I need to give a shout out to Joe who is an excellent finish carpenter. Valerie was very informative when she came and gave us an estimate and was very responsive with any questions we had. The owner Pierre is very hands-on which was a very nice touch from a customer experience aspect. we had a couple tricky areas in the kitchen and due to their knowledge and experience, and they’re fine attention to detail every aspect of of the job far exceeded our expectations. we would highly recommend them and would like to thank all the crew for doing such a great job for us"

Merrimack Valley Plumbing, LLC is a locally-owned and operated company committed to providing fast, affordable, and high-quality Plumbing. We offer HVAC repair, installation, and replacement services. We specialize in heating controls and simplifying complicated plumbing and HVAC systems to make them user-friendly. We strive to find solutions that fit everyone’s comfort needs, from construction projects to air conditioner replacement.
"I hired Merrimack Valley Plumbing to install a boiler in my home, and my experience was overwhelmingly disappointing. While the boiler functions, the installation process and quality of work raised numerous red flags. I want to share my experience to help others make an informed decision when considering this company. Installation Issues Code Violations: The exhaust is less than 3 feet from the gas meter, and the holes drilled in the joists for intake and exhaust are less than 2 inches from the bottom, both of which do not meet code requirements. Improper Venting: Both the exhaust and intake vents are installed too close to the ground (not meeting the 12-inch clearance required for expected snowfall) and are too close to each other (less than the 12-inch separation required). Unsealed Penetration: The hole drilled in the siding was left unsealed, creating a potential entry point for rodents. Condensate Drain Issues: The installed condensate pump is leaking and wasn’t tested. Additionally, rather than a permanent drain installation, they daisy-chained it into a pump for a portable air conditioner. Wiring Errors: The zones for the primary bedroom and second floor were wired backward, causing overheating in both areas. Missing Outdoor Sensor: The outdoor temperature sensor, critical for proper operation, was not installed. No CO Alarm: A carbon monoxide alarm was not installed, which is essential for safety. Unprofessional Workmanship: Trash, including a metal duct pipe, was left in the crawl space near live electrical wires. Process Concerns Permit Delays: The company failed to file permits before starting work. I only discovered this after contacting the town permitting office myself. Mismanagement and Delays: The project stretched far beyond the promised timeline, with repeated excuses about missing parts and limited crew availability, despite prior assurances that the job would be completed in two days. Broken Promises: They claimed a project manager would take measurements in advance to ensure a smooth installation, but no one came. Additionally, they rescheduled initially, promising a larger crew, only to send a single plumber on the first day. Misinformation and Deception Throughout the project, I encountered multiple instances where Merrimack Valley Plumbing provided misleading or false information: - They lied about the dates permits were filed. - They claimed delivery issues caused delays, though they should have anticipated these based on the advance photos provided. - They repeatedly shifted blame rather than taking accountability for the delays and issues. Overall Experience While the boiler itself works, the installation was riddled with code violations, safety oversights, and poor workmanship. Additionally, the company’s lack of transparency and repeated dishonesty made an already frustrating situation worse. I would not recommend Merrimack Valley Plumbing to others. Their lack of professionalism, disregard for safety codes, and failure to take responsibility for their mistakes created an unnecessarily stressful and costly experience."

"This review is hard because I have previously used this business several times over the past few months. However, I’m so profoundly disappointed in the service I received from Super Service Today last week that I feel compelled to share my experience. Two months ago, I told Super Service Today about a basement leak in the utility room. They charged me $180 diagnostic fee but couldn’t identify the source of the leak. I was assured that things looked as if they were in working order (i.e., water heater, piping, and boiler) and that I would get consideration for the $180 diagnostic fee I paid (without getting a diagnosis) if the leak were to recur. Well, the leak recurred in the basement utility room 2 months later. The "consideration" that I was promised went out of the window once they got their initial payment, and I was charged an additional $5000 for the replacement of a new water heater. To make matters worse, their plumber failed to ensure that the tenant’s hot water and heat were functioning after the water heater installation. The tenant understandably complained, so I reported this to Super Service Today. They inform me that their plumber never switched the valves back on, so they sent the same plumber the next day. Since the door was locked and I out of town, I had to pay $200 for a locksmith to unlock the basement. Super Service Today refused to pay for locksmith despite the fact that the need for the locksmith was a direct result of their mistake: leaving the valves off. After the plumbers comes, he then says that there must be an electrical problem with the relay box because the heat and hot water still won’t turn on. Despite the implausibility that the electrical wiring and/or relay box that were perfectly functioning with the bad water heater would suddenly malfunction with the installation of a new water heater, we have an electrician come over the next day for another $450. The electrician tells us the obvious: there is no electrical problem and all the systems are receiving the appropriate signals, that the boiler is hot, and that the issue is clearly plumbing. Additionally, the senior electrician (who has 20 years of HVAC experience) says that the proximate cause is that the plumber introduced an air bubble into the system during the installation of the water heater. I verbally share the summary of the electrical diagnostic information with Super Service Today at 11:43 am Eastern time on Friday, and finally after a second call, the plumber calls me back at 3pm who says he will share it with the office. I don’t get a call back (this is now the 3rd day for my tenant without heat or hot water), so I call back in 1.5 hours, later only to be told that addressing an air bubble in the boiler is out of scope despite the fact that it was introduced during their $5000 water heater installation. Furthermore, because it is now at the end of the day, they would have to charge me an emergency fee of >$150 (for nights/weekends) + $180/hour to diagnose their own incompetence. I passed, put my tenants in a hotel, and hired a trusted plumber who solved the multiple problems in a couple hours. Yes, that’s right, in addition to introducing an air bubble into my previously functioning system, my plumber documented that they erred in the installation of the water heater. It’s no wonder why there was no heat or hot water. I can deal with infrequent mistakes, as everyone is human. I can't suffer people who make mistakes and don't own them, blame other people (like the electrician), and want to charge you exorbitant amounts to fix their own blunders. That's unacceptable They were paid to leave everything in good and working order. Instead, they left me in a lurch, with large out of pocket costs, and very unhappy."

I provide all of my customers with Prompt professional service. My 20 years of experience in the industry will be able to guide you in the right direction with any project
"Getting scheduled was a little difficult but I can't deduct any stars for that. Clearly Moses Electric is busy because they do quality work and the communication on getting scheduled was fantastic. I had them do four different things; they gave me a fair price and did it quickly and cleanly. They cleaned up after themselves -- no pieces of copper or wire jacketing laying around for the dog to find. I couldn't be happier."

One starting point to find a local home builder is to collect suggestions from friends and neighbors. However, it’s still wise to do some more research before you hire a builder. Read reviews to supplement any word-of-mouth recommendations. Check sources like Angi that have standards and criteria in place to screen the pros it lists can also help you find more reputable local home builders.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
