"Jon was extremely responsive and scheduled the appointment for an estimate on the same day that I submitted the request! He was very communicative even before our appointment about availability (it's in the middle of a busy season) and approximate cost. He arrived promptly for the estimate and called ahead to confirm that he was on his way. <br /> During the estimate/walkthrough, Jon spoke about all our options and gave excellent design recommendations, and even offered up less expensive options altogether (including building a deck instead of a patio). He provided more details about how to deal with water (including improving the waterproofing on our foundation) and spoke about potential factors that could increase the price and scope when dealing with excavation. <br /> In the end, we decided not to move forward with the work as scoped, but if we had done so, we would have chosen Jon. <br />show more

"They're half way decent. They've been coming out since last spring. They've been doing my weekly landscaping. They do like a spring clean up of our flower beds and do a cut. And then do the fall clean up. The price I get is not the price that they would necessarily offer to everyone because he used to do the work at the house. So, he said he'll honor that old price. What stands out most is quality work. I don't really see them. He was like, "Look, I'm coming out when you're not here so I'm not annoying you with the lawn mowers and all the stuff. So, whatever day you don't think you're going to be around." So that's how he did it. They're good at showing up when they say they're going to show up. But, if you try to call them, they're a little slow.show more

"Chuck got back to me a few minutes after I left a message and set up an appointment to come by two days later. He arrived on time and spent half an hour discussing the problem with me. Chuck said that the trees were most likely dying of old age and from being in less than ideal soil, and that there was no sign of disease or infestation. When I asked if there was anything we needed to do to help the remaining trees he answered that treatments wouldn't be helpful and that he didn't want to charge me for something he knew would not help. Chuck was knowledgeable, honest, answered all my questions patiently, and didn't charge anything even when I offered to pay him for his time.show more

"Wow, I am glad I didn't read and trust the review prior to hiring. A friend recommend Pat. He and his guys were amazing. Pat was able to come the day I called due to a cancelation. I was working on a deadline, since I needed some of the bushes removed prior to having a fence put in. He was able to fit me in. He was very knowledgable and nonjudgemental. I was having bushes removed that had been installed prior to me moving into the house. (It was a flip.) I didn't like them and wanted to have a fence. In addition, we had a ton of weeds, since we hadn't weeded. He also agreed to add us to his grass cutting service. On the day of the work, the guys showed up on time. They were extremely polite. I had a new puppy and the guys were all great with him wanting to say hi every time we went out for him to pee. They checked in with me multiple times to ensure everything was going as I wanted. To remove a stump they had to bring in a large machine could damage my grass. I was asked prior to them doing it and told what they could do instead, which wasn't a full removal. They explained how they would do their best to protect my underground gutter drainage. In another area that they removed shrub bushes they installed stone edging and rocks. Grass cutting - awesome! They come and not only cut the grass, but trim the edges.show more
