"We hired Bob Phalan to replace the surrounding trim after we had installed new garage doors. He estimated 1½ days. But upon removal of the exist aluminum siding, structural damage including carpenter ant damage and a rusted-cracked lally column were discovered. Bob made required repairs replacing 2x4s, the lally column, plywood, insulation, wall board, and plastering. Then he was able to begin work on the vinyl trim. We showed Bob a photo of the “look” we wanted to achieve and he achieved it perfectly. He was at our home for 3 very long days, the cost of his work was very reasonable."

Very neat, the kitchen was left clean, did a good job sealing off the room so other rooms would not be affected  by dust. Pleasant to work with and a reasonable price for the quality of work. We will never go to another plasterer for our future renovation needs. The walls and ceiling look amazing!   We had another contractor come in to look at another project and the first thing he said when he saw Berty's work was "Well you got someone who knew what they were doing!"  My husband said he wishes he were around to see how he did it, the walls and ceiling were so uneven to start and when he was done everything was so even. "Tom is wonderful.  He came out and let me know several ways the work could be done. We set up a time and he came out and did the work promptly and well.  When I didn't feel that the area of the wall he repainted matched the rest of the wall exactly he had no problem repainting it to match. It was very clear from the start that he wanted his customer to be happy, and went above and beyond (the owner of the unit above mine was paying for the work and he not only spoke with me but with her regarding the work that needed to be done.).  His work area was clean and you cannot even tell that anything was ever amiss on my ceiling.  While he was there he noticed that the seat on my toilet needed tightening so he did that as well.  The only part that wasn't perfect is that he is busy and is not always great with calling or confirming appointments when he says he will.  So, if you don't mind chasing after him a bit (which I did) his work is worth it. I would definitely use him in the future if I needed more done."
