I have been in the trade since 1976, bricklayers union local 3, first business started in 1985. I am the sole owner of jim sullivan masonry LLC. I am present on every job doing the work with one helper. It is a 2 man crew. We work for cash or checks & can make payment arrangements if needed. Award winning. "I called Horizon after moving into a new home in Medway and having no idea what condition the chimney was in. They sent a team out the same day! The guys were great - very friendly and professional. They looked everything over, informed us that one chimney needed to be cleaned but the other did not, and some of the brick work was loose on the fireplace floor. I also requested a chimney cap and they suggested strengthening part of the chimney before installing. They provided an estimate within 24 hours and came out about a week later to do the work. Again, they were completely professional, pleasant and somehow despite cleaning the chimney and doing masonry work, did not create any dust or mess in the house. I was so pleased that I asked them to put us on a yearly schedule for routine cleaning. I highly recommend!"

Was able to dismantle the Morso insert in our fireplace with little to no difficulty, and determine that having the 2nd flue cleaned was likely worth the money. And after seeing what came out of the cleaning process, there was no doubt he was right. That said, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the whole job, given how dirty the work of sweeping a chimney naturally is. He also confirmed that our chimney cap and pointing appeared to be in very good shape, which was helpful and reassuring."

"My chimney cap had blown off during one of those wind storms in March. I made an appointment for Alelfi to stop by the next day. It turned out that after he did a camera inspection of my chimney flue, I needed a new liner. Alelfi was able to schedule me in 2 weeks later to start the project. Everything went great during the 4 day repairs. He had to breakup the old liner and replace it with 2 insulated stainless steel liners. Also, we needed a fireplace insert that I purchased separately. Alelfi, picked up the insert, assembled and installed it. It looks beautiful and works terrific. We never had a real log fire before because our flue was to small (we had to always use Duraflame logs). So we now have a great roaring fire and the ability to heat the entire 1st floor. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Alelfi again for my chimney needs. "
