"????? If I could give zero stars, I would Hiring this contractor was a nightmare from start to finish. The bathroom they delivered is so poorly done that I feel like I need to redo it entirely. They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "

"I requested a quote by email, clearly specifying it was for 2 cracks and sending 4 pictures (2 from the inside, 2 outside) as requested. One crack was twice as long as the other one, very different and salt leftover from water infiltration. I received a quote for $500 which detailed the total cost, without any mention of additional costs. After the technician performed the work in less than 30 minutes, trouble started: he told me he was directed to work on just one, not two foundation cracks. I received a call from the same woman that set everything and she first stated I only request a quote for a crack: I went back to the email and it clearly stated "quote for 2 cracks", she claimed she got confused by the pictures and thought I sent the same crack from different angles. Honestly, they are in the crack business, I don't know how one could get confused by this. She insisted that, despite her making a mistake, I'd need to pay more. I got a call from the owner which argued with me about paying $350 more, that the quotes I got from other companies were also about a single crack, that their quote has different pricing per crack (I verified, it did not, there was just a single price). After I mentioned this seemed to me a bait and switch technique, he argued some more but in the end agreed to accept the quoted price."

The floor was an absolute disaster after a bad DIY Garage flooring kit was used. "From start to finish, we were very impressed with all aspects of the experience with Ambassador Painting and Wallcovering. Gary, the owner, responded to our request for a quote right away, he arrived to our house on time, and walked the property with us. We were impressed with the initial meeting with Gary as he noticed and pointed out items of concern during the project walk-through There was absolutely no pressure and no upselling. The following day he left us a quote in our mailbox as promised. We called him back with a few questions and he was so professional and knowledgeable that we agreed to the contract with him on the phone. We were also having the roof replaced within the next couple of weeks and Gary was very flexible to work around our roof install. They also assisted us with our color choice and did carpentry repair and some fascia and soffit replacement work. Gary was checking in with us on a regular basis to ensure everything was going well from our perspective. We hired them for two additional jobs, painting our new shed and painting a sunroom addition.
