Ambassador Painting and Wallcovering

From start to finish, we were very impressed with all aspects of the experience with Ambassador Painting and Wallcovering. Gary, the owner, responded to our request for a quote right away, he arrived to our house on time, and walked the property with us. We were impressed with the initial meeting with Gary as he noticed and pointed out items of concern during the project walk-through There was absolutely no pressure and no upselling. The following day he left us a quote in our mailbox as promised. We called him back with a few questions and he was so professional and knowledgeable that we agreed to the contract with him on the phone. We were also having the roof replaced within the next couple of weeks and Gary was very flexible to work around our roof install. They also assisted us with our color choice and did carpentry repair and some fascia and soffit replacement work. Gary was checking in with us on a regular basis to ensure everything was going well from our perspective. We hired them for two additional jobs, painting our new shed and painting a sunroom addition. They paid lots of attention to detail - our house looks amazing. and we couldn't be happier. We have received many compliments on our house after the painting. Our experience with Ambassador was outstanding. In the peak of the exterior painting season, this company was able to coordinate their services between our roofing and gutter projects. Removing/replacing compromised fascia and soffits were very well done. Very impressed with the owner's technical/product knowledge and color/scheme suggestions, Our project was a bit involved with compromised exterior wood and paint but when complete, the results were extremely impressive, cleanup was meticulous and all debris was disposed of. So pleased, we had them back for repair of storm damage and exterior painting around our recently completed addition. Again, outstanding work.

The painters arrived on the specified date and time and worked every day until completed. The temperatures were in the 90's and very humid for the entire time but the team worked to get the job done. The owner of the company was on site most of the time to oversee the work. They also removed and reinstall new shutters on the house. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Gary and his crew were very professional and exceeded our expectations. He even threw in a couple of "freebies" (e.g., front door) so that they didn't detract from the quality of his work. We felt that his price was very reasonable, his work was outstanding, and he was very prompt when responding to our inquiries. We would certainly hire him again.

I had hired at least three other painters/companies prior to hiring Gary and he is better than all on every measure. His work is excellent. He takes care of his team and as a result, has a dependable team who do a thorough job and clean up after themselves. They do the job right and work with you to complete the work to your liking. Gary and his team are personable, easy to work with and dependable. When he starts a job, he finishes it. I had a troublesome metal bulkhead that seemed to repel paint and where others failed in the past, he kept trying options and even got some paint company reps involved until he found a solution. He did not charge me extra for the extra effort and there were a few return visits involved over a year. Clearly he enjoys what he does, takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond expectations.
