"Mark was very friendly, professional, responsive and finished the job a timely manner. He gave us a fair estimate and was able to accurately describe the scope of the project up front. We had just bought a 1967 ranch that needed updating and Mark and his team removed some paneling and layers of old painted wallpaper from almost every room in the house, repaired the walls and painted our new house to get it ready for us to move in and make our home. He was also knowledgeable about helping us choose the right paint color and finish. He even stood by his work and helped us fix a snafu weeks later in the bathroom due us not having a working fan. "Tao and Taozen flooring exceeded our expectations. Our work was completed on time and on budget. Tao and his entire crew are extremely easy to work with. They are neat, respectful and responsive. Tao and his crew removed over 2000 square feet of carpet in multiple rooms and installed new white oak flooring. Tao also replaced two carpeted staircases with the same oak. Tao and his crew were meticulous on our floors and stairs, even spending an additional day to make sure our stair frame and plywood was level and secure before adding the treads and kick boards. Tao refinished the few rooms of existing hardwood we had at no additional cost and all of our new floors match our existing floors perfectly. Tao and Taozen flooring are the only company I will use on future projects. I cannot recommend them enough."

He is thoughtful and earnest, as well as honest and reliable. We had him paint our kitchen (where the counters were brandy-new and very white, and he left them in pristine condition after painting the whole kitchen, not an easy task!), including a chalkboard wall and a lot of trim; he did an awesome job and it looks great. "Chillins Painting & Remodeling – A Total Disaster of a Company If I could give zero stars, I would. Hiring Chillins Painting & Remodeling was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This company has no business calling themselves professionals. The paint job they rushed through started peeling within days — not months, not weeks, days. Their siding work was just as bad: they dumped the old siding all over our lawn, killed most of our grass, and then acted like it wasn’t their responsibility. We had to beg them to come back just to clean up their own mess. When it came time to actually finish the job, they offered one ridiculous excuse after another — locked keys, injuries, “other jobs” they chose to prioritize instead of ours. Finally, when the owner begrudgingly returned, he tried to shake us down for more money before doing the work we already paid for. That second attempt was just as careless and pathetic as the first, with peeling paint, visible damage to our siding, and yet another pile of unused materials they dumped on our property for us to pay to remove. Chillins Painting & Remodeling is everything you hope to avoid when hiring a contractor: sloppy, dishonest, condescending, and utterly incompetent. They cut corners at every step, treat their customers with disdain, and leave your property in worse condition than when they started. This company is a scam dressed up as a contractor. If you care about your home, your money, or your sanity, stay far, far away from Chillins Painting & Remodeling. They are a complete embarrassment to their trade."
