Mike Moran Painting

Mike and his team did a great job to repair the exterior of my house. He has a good carpenter and his team is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them and will definitely consider them again in the future.

I can't praise them enough!! Wonderful, professional, outstanding job! Our home has never looked so beautiful! Polite, considerate, really good at what they do!! We are having them back this winter to paint the interior.

Mike was responsive and extremely thorough with the quote. His team was always on time, friendly, helpful and the work was great. I don't think you can go wrong having Mike do your painting job.

We couldn't have been happier with Mike's ability and flexibility.  He also has a careful and caring crew that work with him as well.  Mike was great on the communication side, and was flexible around our vacations, kids being home etc.  He completed the work over a couple of weeks, and that was just fine with us due to activities etc.  He worked with us and didn't demand anything, and was very personable.  Can't say enough good things about Mike Moran.  Use his crew - you won't regret it.

It was fine.  They were very careful.  They didn't leave any paint down on the floor or any place else.  They were genuinely pleasant people to have around.  They were on time.  They finished the job well.  They took care in choosing colors.  There were a few things that they advised us on a slightly different tone than we were expecting to use.  I would call them again.  They certainly weren't exceptional or exceptionally expensive.

The work was done with minimal mess and on time. This is the second time we have used them. We will continue to use them for any paint project we have.

The crew arrived on time and finished the job on time, as promised.  They were neat and efficient.  Their work was completely satisfactory.

Mike and his team were highly professional and their work was spot on! He also gives great advice when asked about color choices; when they saw boards needing some TLC they covered that as well.His team were highly dependable, if they said they would be there, they were there 5 minutes early! I certainly plan to hire Mike again soon for our move-out painting work!

These guys were excellent. They know paint, they know technique,  they know color - consulting with us to get the right mix. They are prompt, fun to have around, everything you could want in a contractor. They sweat the details for you, and consider the whole job, not just the painting, as they work through helping you get the job done right. Also, we have dogs, and sometimes they were at home when the crew was working. They were very conciseness about keeping the yard and house secure when and as needed. They made what was a big job, as easy as possible to go through and we really were glad to have had then recommended to us. I in turn recommend them to you.

The carpentry work was thorough and well done.  Any problems were discussed with me prior to fixing.  Same with the painting.  We have cement fiber siding on the old part of the house and wanted the addition, which has cedar siding, to be painted the same color.  They did an excellent job of getting the paint matched.  They painted the siding on the addition and the trim on the entire house.  Beautiful job.  They also sanded and stained the deck - another great job.  They cleaned everything up.  I would definitely use them again.

I needed my foyer with vaulted ceilings, upstairs hallway and staircase painted. this included painting all my dark stained wood, doors and trim white. Mike came and did the initial proposal, and when I had questions, came back and spent more time with me working out how the job should be done.  Ended up realizing that I had too many different color schemes going on, and Mike helped me realize what needed to occur to make it more consistent.  He helped me come up with a game plan for my overall paint scheme in my house, which needed updating.
Ended up being a larger job than I anticipated, but was well worth the time and money.  the initial price seemed high to me, but with all the trim and celing work that needed to be done, it made sense.  Once the work started, I saw how much time they took to properly prep my walls and trim for the paint, which definitely was not done by the last painter I had do this area. The crew was incredibly neat, courteous, and did a great job, also helped me pick out color, which turned out beautifully.
I now have an overall scheme, and will definitely be hiring Mike and his crew to help me continue with my overall plan.

Everything went well.  Mike made sure that we were happy with the work and did what he needed to do to ensure our satisfaction.  Mike would make his own suggestions based on his experience but in the nicest possible way.  Mike sent us a comprehensive quote on the expenses.  He gave us an approximate start date and firmed it up when it came closer to time.  All of the people who work for Mike are very nice and good at what they do.  All around a positive experience.

Mike came to our house and gave us a bid personally,  We needed a lot of clean up on our walls and we also asked for a complex suede finish (which 2 other painters had previously refused to do given the detail work required).  We also had Mike price out the cost of the crown moulding installation and painting.  Mike's bid was very through (including the carpentry work required) with no additional costs or concerns.  During the work, Mike's team worked with us closely on issues which arose and even when my husband was out of town, we were able to conference him in with the team and go into some detail about a change.  They were most helpful and receptive to any changes or questions.  The house was clean every night when the painters went home and I never worried when they were in the house alone - I completed trusted them and was not dissappointed.  We plan to hire Mike again to paint the exterior of our house.

Our contractor used Mike Moran for a new addition we had put on our 1950s cape house. His work was very good and we asked him to then paint all of the existing trim in the house. He provided a very thorough estimate and was always willing to discuss details on the phone or via email. His crew was professional and punctual and very thorough. They were very patient with us and receptive to our requests and to-do lists. We did not put this work out to bid, so I cannot comment on fairness of price in relation to other painting companies. However, the work was excellent and I would definitely use this company again!

I found Mike to be very knowledgable, experienced, responsible, pleasant, and easy to work with. He understood my financial constraints in not being able to afford to repaint the entire house at this time, and he offered good, sound advice so we could come up with a plan which was comfortable for me while addressing the house's need for attention. His quick response to my phone calls and emails was remarkable for a contractor, as well as his frequent presence on site. His men were respectable and clean. He is well-known in this area as providing high-quality work. I plan on using him again for my exterior and interior painting needs.
