"Tony and his crew are the perfect example of professionalism. The tiling crew was there 7-730am - 6-630pm everyday for a week and got the job done. The tiling was done in the basement, a bedroom down there as well..,it looks amazing, neat and beautiful. I can’t believe it’s the same area it looks gorgeous. I would highly recommend Tony and his crew to anyone who needs tiling of any sort done. I will be hiring Tony and his crew again to do my kitchen floor. Excellent team work crew very friendly and approachable."

Customers say: Quality work

"Hired to remove large accent panel over kitchen sink and install subway tile to match the rest of tile and pattern of kitchen backsplash. Some damage to wall which was expected since it was attached with cement and the new tile needed to be cut to fit but I expected that, too. Another tile installer I hired actually backed out of the job for that reason. Wall was repaired and tile job looked fine . Fair price. Orlen was always on time , answering calls, texts. Always professional and pleasant to work with."

"Sayed replaced our kitchen backsplash and replaced walls and tiles in the bathroom. His tile work was great and he went above and beyond what was requested, even painting the bathroom and installing fixtures."

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

When working on your bathroom floor tiling, you should always tile the floor first and then refit the toilet afterward. This has both practical and visual advantages—the tile will have a better seal, and the installation will look cleaner.

On the other hand, when you try to cut the tiles to fit around the toilet, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage. It’s a lot more work, it’s hard to be precise, and mistakes or miscalculations can lead to future moisture damage to the tiling, grout, and subfloor.

Different types of tile cutters may work best depending on the type of tile you are cutting and the size of your project. There are two main types of tile cutters: manual and electric. Manual tile cutters are quick and easy to use for small projects and softer tile materials, but they can only make straight cuts. Electric tile cutters make light work of big projects and can cut through harder materials.

The grout shade you choose comes down to personal taste and preference. A darker grout will give you a more dramatic and noticeable contrast with the tile around it; however, lighter grout helps create a more uniform look when blending the colors together. Additionally, a darker grout combined with a patterned tile could be overwhelming to the eye, while lighter grout makes the pattern stand out as the main focus.

Yes, it’s possible to cut tile without a wet saw; instead, you can use an angle grinder, a glass cutter, a snap cutter, tile nippers, or a rotary tool with a tile-cutting blade. A manual tile cutter or snap cutter works well for the larger tiles that wet saws are typically used for, while smaller projects might just require nippers or a glass cutting wheel. If you’re working with large quantities of tile, however, power tools are best.

Yes, it’s always a good idea to keep a box or two of spare tiles after a home renovation project. Tiles can crack from improper installation, heavy foot traffic, and impact from drops. Having some extra tile on hand can make replacement fast, easy, and affordable. Plus, some manufacturers might discontinue particular colors or styles, and slight variations in tile colors between batches could mean mismatched tiles even if your product isn’t discontinued. Having a few spare tiles in storage can help avoid these issues, as well.
