"Bob is excellent. He has been so helpful to us, having worked on everything from straightening our crooked kitchen cabinets to repairing broken closet doors, and even assembling some new furniture we got (media center, large desks, patio table, etc.) Bob is extremely resourceful & professional, and has both the know-how & the tools to tackle a wide-range of household projects."

"After an exhaustive search for a contractor to remodel our 3 bathrooms, we selected Keith and his team based on his approach, his experience, the cost, and for one really important reason. Keith is as authentic of a person that I have ever met. During the scoping process, Keith provided allowances, which allowed me and my wife to understand the estimate and understand what levers we had to pull. Keith provided candid feedback on our ideas and used his vast experience to share alternatives. After vetting other contractors, Keith was a pleasure to work with out of the gates. The scheduling of the work was not an easy task, as we were tackling 3 bathrooms sequentially. Keith was able to keep the schedule on track and have his team (carpenters, plumbers, electrician) show up when he said they would show up. If there was a change to the plan, he let us know as soon as he found out. Keith also did a great job with the building inspector and making sure there was no lost time with each inspection. The craftsmanship of Keith and his team is extraordinary. They were able to do things that other contractors said couldn't be done or and never tried to convince us to do something "easier". Keith took our plans and made them a reality. From the tilework, to the finish carpentry, to the plumbing and electrical, everything was done top notch. What was even more impressive, was that during the entire project, Keith and his team were personable, approachable, and respectful. Overall, Keith and his team delivered on their estimate, made changes when asked to, accommodated additional asks, and did it all professionally. It was a pleasure to have Keith and his team to make our dreams come to life. We would most definitely consider Keith for additional work, as he is very good at this craft and is a very nice, sincere, and authentic person."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Yes, many brands make models similar to endless pools with a range of features. Some companies feature temporary aboveground pools that imitate the effect of permanent installations. Small home pool spas—or spools—as well as lap pools and pools without propulsion designs for water aerobics are also available.

You should add one 3-inch chlorine tablet for every 5,000 gallons of water in your pool. If you have a smaller pool, it’s better to use 1-inch chlorine tablets so you don’t accidentally add too much chlorine. Alternatively, you can add two to three ounces of powdered chlorine or half a gallon of liquid chlorine for every 5,000 gallons of water.

The only pools that don’t need grounding are those without electrical components, such as small inflatable pools. Any outlet around a pool should be a GFCI to cut the current if the outlet gets too wet. At the very least, the pool’s electrical should be plugged into a GFCI outlet, if not a dedicated GFCI breaker. Check local guidelines and requirements to ensure you’re following all safety regulations.

The most expensive part of building a pool is typically the excavation and labor, which can account for 25% to 50% of the total project cost. This is particularly true for inground pools that require significant excavation, potentially including the rental of large equipment, and extensive construction labor. In contrast, above-ground pools are generally less expensive as they typically do not require excavation and can be installed much more quickly. Concrete in-ground pools are among the most labor-intensive options.

Round and freeform pools are popular choices for a small backyard, although a small yard may be able to accommodate a variety of shapes. When planning a pool for your small yard, remember to take into account pool deck space, fencing requirements, and other pool-related factors that may limit your choices.
