John was great. He responded quickly to my inquiry. I was afraid we would have to refinish the table set, but he was able to fix the table without an extensive refinishing project for a reasonable cost. He was easy to deal with and wanted to make sure we were happy with hits work. We highly recommend John for furniture repair.

We have had furniture refinishing and we had someone called John Barry come. He actually, when he did our table, made a mistake and used the wrong material but then he told us that he will refinish the whole table for free. He made a mistake but he was very loyal so that was okay. He tried to fill it and it worked for a few days and then it came undone. He is very professional, a nice guy, approachable and responsive. The quality wasn't that good.

I called a couple refinishers, emailed photos, and chose John. His price was a bit lower. He was available to start. And he was flexible in how he would go about refinishing the desk. He had a lot of work going on so we let him hang onto the desk for a while. It came out great though. He had to replace two panels of mahogany laminate, refinish hardware, order knobs, glue down bubbling laminate, and color match everything. The desk looks great. This was a family heirloom. We weren't looking to restore it to its new condition - not that he couldn't - we just didn't want to spend more than we had to considering it just needed to fit alongside our existing furniture.

I highly recommend John for furniture repair. He came to my home to give me a quote which was very reasonable and scheduled the work for the very next day. Then he followed up a few days later after the glue was dry to complete the job. He was always right on time, extremely nice, and more importantly the work is so excellent that it is impossible to tell which leg was broken. He obviously takes great pride in his work and it results in a perfect result. I also appreciate that he did the work in my home so that he or I didn't have the worry of transporting a fairly large piece of furniture. Providers like this can be hard to find! John is awesome from start to finish!

He examined the damage to the furniture at home. He provided estimates at that time. We felt they were fair and reasonable and so we made an appointment for him to return to repair the piano. He took the bench and tables with him to repair at his shop.
We were very pleased with the quality of his work and the promptness of the service.

John was competitively priced and was much less than other offers. He is very professional and very skilled with his work. He took a lot longer than the time that he stated and he is a great value for the money.
