"I was going replace the existing decking because of never ending maintenance. I looked into the various types of decking and rail systems available and found it to be very confusing, the material is very expensive and not a simple install. Having used iCornerstone before I contacted Richard as to the best way to go. Richard cam up and photographed and measured the deck and then arranged for a visit to the Cape Cod Lumber showroom to view the various systems and styles. After selecting what we wanted Richard wrote a specification for us with drawings to obtain quotations for the material that would be required to complete the work. After purchasing the material Richard had recommend a contractor that was familiar with this type of work and we decided to hire him. The work was done in about 16 hours time and I could not have been happier. The work included the removal of the old deck floor, railing on stairs and railing on the front side of the deck. There was very little waste when the job was completed which is important due the cost of material. All the old material was disposed of properly and the site cleaned before the contractor left. All in all I could not have been happier as there no headaches on my part."

"My experience was good from beginning to end. Jonathan, the principal, met with me on site several times before the work began. I was impressed by his integrity; prior to the state of the project, he explained that the projects I'd requested might not enhance the resale value of my home. This was the first home renovation project I'd attempted on my own. Jonathan and his colleague Joe made sure that every part of the process went well. Jonathan and Joe are careful workers with a respect for their clients' property and security. Jonathan and Joe are also good about follow-up. When a minor problem occurred with the newly installed windows, Jonathan immediately contacted the manufacturer and worked with their tech rep to solve the problem. I appreciated the continuing responsiveness to my concerns after the official conclusion of the first part of the project. I've been very pleased with the results of both projects. My home is warmer, more energy efficient, and more attractive. Several neighbors have asked me about HomePro; they were impressed by the quality of the work and were interested in a referral for future projects in their homes. Vinnie does the work as if it is his own project. Completely focused, attentive to the details. I liked most of this wor ethic. His quote was one of the most competitive. We interviewed about six different builders all with good ratings from friends or Angie's list. People he works with, electrician, plumber, HVAC were all very professional. Timely. Vinnie came up with this kitchen breakfast bar/island concept. He built it without much of an additional charge to the original quote. Gave us the address from where we could buy a quartz top. That breakfast bar became the central piece of the basement. There was a plain big wall on one side of the basement. Vinne came up with a cost-effective way to turn it into a brick-looking wall perfectly matching brick tiles in the kitchen. He put the kitchen brick tiles in one afternoon, without asking extra on top of the quote. Vinnie guided how best to get custom kitchen cabinets suitable for a basement. He installed the cabinets himself. He had put the crown of the cabinet twice to match two pieces of the crown in color, he did not ask for extra. He helped us choose the best option for flooring for humidity and told us where to find the most cost-effective flooring. He only charged us for putting the flooring down. All this gave us confidence that what he is charging us reasonable, he was not charging us extra on top of the material cost to him since we were buying the material ourselves after making sure that the price/quality was suitable for the project."
