"Silvio's team did an amazing job in a very difficult access site. They took a dangerous failing waterfront patio and wall and turned it into a fantastic useable space. While they were not the cheapest quote they did the job for exactly the amount they said they would, and the quality was great. Would absolutely hire again."

Small jobs welcome

"Leo and his team installed the patio for us in our backyard. They were very efficient and the job was done exactly as we wanted. The communication was effective, and Leo re-seed the lawn areas that were damaged by the construction. Great experience!"

"We just hired GF Landscaping for a spring clean up and are very pleased with the results. They did a great job cleaning up the leaves and tree limbs that had fallen over the winter. They took great care putting in mulch. The yard looks 100% better. We will definitely be hiring them again."

Customers say: Quality work

"We live in Natick and recently redesigned a large bluestone patio and redid our front walkway. Dardah was very professional, easy to work with, did everything when they said they would, came right out and helped us get this project done. I highly recommend you give them a call."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

For many people, a gazebo is worth it, but it’s a matter of personal preference. If you love spending time outside but your yard doesn’t offer much protection from the sun or rain, then adding a gazebo might be worthwhile. Or, if you enjoy hosting dinner parties and want a nice outdoor space to gather with your friends, a gazebo could be a good investment.

Several types of porches are available to meet your needs and style preferences. Some common porch types include:

  • Porticos are essentially a roof over a walkway leading to the home's front entrance.

  • Sunrooms are closed-in porches that are an extension of the house with glass or plastic panels that allow optimal sunlight.

  • Wraparound porches extend around the entire home, or at least the front and one side, and offer multiple entrances to the house.

  • Back porches are an extension of the home’s floor into the outdoors. These offer more protection and privacy than a deck.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.
