What was originally thought to be a two-week job was finished in six working days as foreman Joe Costain efficiently deployed his crew and brought in a second crew on a few days to expedite the work. He and the crew checked in frequently on our preferences, minimized the number of holes in the ceilings and walls (including avoiding harming our wallpaper in a couple of rooms altogether), and cleaned up well at the end of every day. Jack’s estimate was competitive and the final accounting accurately included the additions and subtractions we agreed to during the job. "Overall, the finishing of my basement went pretty smooth. The Owens Corning product, drop down ceiling, and flooring are all really sharp. In the beginning everything went fast and smooth with the framing and wall/floor/ceiling install being done within 2 weeks. There were some hiccups with minor imperfections, tv mount in wrong spot, etc. Those were fixed promptly. After that is when I ran into issues with other items in my contract that were not taken care of and the project felt forgot about. Just had some minor electric work, stairs to get carpeted, and didn't receive hanging clips yet. I had to constantly ask about these items and every answer would be "I forgot to ask or send the clips". I eventually got the items completed, but am not happiest that it took almost a month and constant reminding to get these items that should've been scheduled for during the project."
