"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"They gave us the best rate and the setup was great for ADT system. The installer did have to tell us about other options that would cost more money but he did not pressure us when we declined. We had door, window and motion detectors included. They gave us a week to practice on the new system, but we could call if we were ready to go live sooner which we did. Set up was quick, easy and uneventful. Very nice installer, Phillip Brown. The cost was quoted at a low price, but the bill came from ADT and was much higher. We were told the contract to ADT did not catch up and we will be getting the lower price with a reimbursement for the excess of the first bill. We did the $99 install and are getting a $100 gift card back. 3 year contract is a little annoying but we plan to stay here for a long time."

"Kaio did and very thorough and excellent job painting the bathroom and adjacent linen closet in my 60-year-old condo. There were various layers of different paint, peeling paint, and curling paint above the tile in the shower. He dealt with and improve the look of the overpainted metal on the grate to the vent and the metal heating unit. He adjusted the enclosure of the pocket door to the linen closet so that it wouldn’t scrape the paint on the door as the door was moved back and forth. He fixed the paint on the bathroom door that was peeling up from the bottom. After each day, Kaio left the area spotless. He was accommodating of my schedule and also of the way I needed to use my bathroom daily. He was clear about each step he would be doing and took time to address many small but important details. His price was very reasonable, especially considering the amount of work he put into the job. I would definitely recommend him to others and am very likely to use him again myself for other jobs."

"SGH secured bids for painting services which were reviewed at the meeting -- we will move forward after SGH gets clarification for us on several points in the bid. We also accepted the proposal for a new pump and will receive information on pest control service options. Over the last year, SGH worked with the owners to secure tree removal services (so we were protected during the storms this winter), get a contractor to replace the roofs on the lower 3 units, and got us an energy audit. The main value SGH has provided is that our condo association now has a managed program for sequencing necessary repairs and building up a fund to cover expenses. We are not large enough to have a permanent property manager resident in the building. So before SGH, we dealt with issues only when there was an emergency situation. Now, SGH is very responsive when issues arise, but also has led us to a program where we are taking necessary preventive and ongoing maintenance activities. Wendy is a total professional and the SGH connection is a benefit to the property owners. There is an on-line portal for payment of fees and transparency which was lacking before on the financial situation. We are pleased that we have entered into this relationship."
