"Ari Sharka is a very experienced problem solver who has a variety of skills. We had several small jobs involving a new mailbox post, some faucet adjustments, hanging some large pictures, and repairing sliding closet doors so they would slide smoothly. The most challenging task was replacing a bulb in our oven/microwave combination. The appliance had to be completely taken apart and the location of the tiny light was not obvious. He knew exactly what to do and replaced it successfully. He has skills in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work and no job was too complicated for him to complete. He had every conceivable kind of tool that he needed. He pays attention to details, and left every area clean after he was done. He completed a dozen jobs in two days and his price was reasonable. He was a joy to work with, full of enthusiasm and wanting to do an excellent job. I would highly recommend him for any kind of job."

"I originally hired Services & More to cut my grass. But...one thing led to another. As I also had an issue with one one my windows. The trim was rotted and water was getting into the wall causing damage, along with that, we desperately needed to replace our shingles. My husband and I wanted vinyl siding done. Adam, was very helpful with the whole process. Before I knew it everything we needed done had gotten done, and then some. What I liked most about this company was he never pushed or tried to sell us on any services. We just happened to ask. Once again, Adam took care of what we wanted to do and more, because we asked, including our garden beds. When they did the siding, they replaced ply wood in the areas that needed it, and also repaired the foundation, in certain spots. Adam also did the interior of our wall, where that window was. ALL VERY reasonable in price! Considering that they did quite a lot. They are my go to guys!! I've hired them for life! Highly recommend!!"

"Bertie came out to look at the gate on a Wednesday night. He pointed out that he could also replace some wooden pickets on the fence which I needed to have done but didn't think about asking him as getting the gate repaired was more important. He came out on Friday morning and repaired the gate and replaced pickets as well as secure a section of fencing. He did a great job. Bertie was very polite and punctual. He kept in contact with me the entire time. I would definitely hire Bertie again and I highly recommend him."

Small jobs welcome

"Dave has done so many projects around my house and I am so grateful for him. From painting to repairs, to carpentry, to assembling furniture, to fixing literally anything, Dave is my go to! He can always figure out how to get the job done. Sometimes I request a â lipstick on the pigâ job and other times, he will fully repair or replace something. Dave is very trustworthy and he always does a great job."

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

The duration of a repair job can range from a few hours to several days. Simpler issues may take 1-4 hours, while more complex work or extensive damage could take 1-3 days. The final timeline depends on the complexity of the problem, the extent of the damage, and the location of the work.

Old pianos can be hard to sell for a few reasons. Pianos fifty years or older may only sell for several hundred dollars and will often cost more to transport to the new owners. Restoring a piano also costs well into the thousands, making it pretty hard to make your money back. In most cases, donating or recycling the parts of a piano is more cost-efficient and beneficial in the long run.

Wood furniture is usually vulnerable to water damage. However, larger furniture tends to have a high chance of being salvaged as long as it hasn’t been standing in water for more than 24 hours. You can restore bedpoles, table and couch legs, and other wood parts that haven’t been fully saturated. Meanwhile, smaller objects like decors or furniture with fabric wrapping may require full replacement.

You can fix a ripped faux leather couch using the exact same process and materials outlined in this guide. Simply clean and trim the area, insert a patch, apply your adhesive, and let it set.

Minor water damage on wood tables can be reversed fairly easily. You can remove stains and light surface damage with a sandblock, then repaint and re-varnish the wood surface. For swollen and rotten wood, you can cut away the damaged parts and use a wood filler as long as the affected area isn’t too much.
