I had already had materials purchased, but forgot to take them out of my car that day. He actually made an extra stop to repurchase the materials without charging me extra for the time it took. Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications.
