He came out twice to do a thorough quoting and talked in depth about how anyone can be a painter but it's all in the prep work. He didn't do what he said he was going to do with the prepping. After it was all painted, he came back because we were starting to flake off in a few months time. He said it wasn't his fault and that it had something to do with the paint. It's only been 3 years in August and it looks like it needs to be done again. Anyone looking for a painter should go with a company that has more than one employee and someone who's more reputable. He's more of a handyman.

I was very happy with the way he fixed the storm door. The medicine cabinet was another story. The first time he installed it, it wasn't centered over the sink (!). I made him do it over, which, after arguing with me, he reluctantly did. He stabilized the stair rail just fine but did not patch the hole in the post until I made him...and then he used cheap fill that wasn't stainable so I ended up having to paint the stair rail. That and a foul mouth and I would never hire him again.
