It went great! I had scheduling issues and they helped out beautifully. The person who did the inspection was polite and very professional. He took me with him on every step of the inspection and explained not only what he was looking for, why, and what he was doing and why, but what I should watch for and do in the future. The company and the inspector fully respected my desire to not use poison or non-green products. The price included a discount for being an Angie's list member, the full inspection (indoor and outdoor), the full anti-mouse treatment (my home is over 1,100 sq. ft.) AND a follow-up visit in about two weeks!!!!! They fully stand behind their work and I would recommend them to anyone

Leo and the young man with him installed bat doors to remove the bats permanently from our home. We were having an issues with bats entering our home. They came when they said they would. They also looked for all areas where the pests could be entering. They were on time and worked very quickly and effectively. They installed bat doors. So these pest can be removed from my home. Leo also showed that he knew a lot about these pests. I feel very comfortable with the service. He will return in a couple of weeks to remove the doors. I am very happy with the service. Both tech were very nice and hard workers. I will tell my friend and anyone else about this great service.

A All Animal Control

The first part of the process was to place cylinders in the areas where the bats where coming and going from the house. These cylinders where made so that the bats could come out but could not get back in. As explained to me by the owner what I did not want to do was seal the bats in my house, but actually let them leave but prevent them from reentering once they flew out at night. The other issue I had was chimney caps, I only had one on out of three chimneys capped and the one that was capped did not have screening to prevent animals, bats or bird from flying down the chimneys. After capping the chimneys, the cylinders where placed the next step was to just wait a week to make sure all the bats where out of the house before removing the cylinders and sealing the point of entry. Before the work was done I had a total of ten bats in my house, five each year for two years in a row. I have not been bothered with any since the completion of the work. The owner was always professional, prompt and courteous and answered any questions or concerns I had in detail. The work performed was of top quality, I would recommend this company to family and friends. I am not sure who or what I would have done if I had not stumbled across this company, I was afraid to sleep in my own home. Now I can sleep assured I will not wake to find a bat hovering around the inside of my home

Bat Guys

Matt knows his craft. If you have pests in your attic or signs of mice, Matt is the guy you want to help keep them out of your home. During a home inspection we learned that the house we were considering purchasing was infested with bats in the attic. Matt assessed the situation from inside and outside the home. We also made arrangements for him to mouse proof the home. The bat proofing came with a three year warranty. The mouse proofing came with a two year warranty. Matt arrived at the home at around 9AM and started working immediately. He started with the bat proofing and made his way around every square inch of the roof. He placed one way gates in the spots he determined were access points. He also sealed any spaces which were large enough to allow the bats entry. Next, Matt went around the entire perimeter of the home and the garage. He climbed under the deck, made his way in hard to reach spaces. In fact, he was able to find a mouse entry point in a hard to reach space behind a 100 gallon propane tank. He uses a sealant and chicken wire to prevent the mice from getting back in. He then set traps along the perimeter of the basement. Matt spent more than 12 hours on the property. I was impressed by the quality of his work. You have to give the bats time to leave the attic. I called Matt back to my home later in the summer to check the gates prior to having my attic reinsulated. I had a section of the roof replaced as well and wanted to make sure that his work had not been undone. Unfortunately, it had. Matt, replaced a gate and sealed up a couple of additional spots for no charge and fortunately before the attic was reinsulated. As a new home owner I was very happy to have come across Matt. Since he lives close to my home, he was able provide me with about 5 service providers, providing a description of their services and how he knows them. We ended up finding our pool guy through Matt. Also, during our conversation about my upcoming projects, I had mentioned that I needed to pick up an extension ladder. Matt said that he had a stack of ladders that his wife wanted him to thin out. He gave me and dropped off a 22' extension ladder. This is going above an beyond. As another example, I mentioned to Matt that I had been cleaning out the gutters on my home, but I was unable to reach a couple of sections of the house with the ladder I had. While he was checking the bat gates, he also cleaned the leaves out of the gutters in these sections. Again, this was a tremendous help and greatly appreciated. I've been very pleased with Matt and I know that he will stand behind his work. I know there have been a couple of reviews which note that they did not receive a call back. For the most part, The Bat Guys is a one man operation. He has a busy season and considering that he put in more than 12 hours in a single day at my house, I know it is difficult for him to manage the demand when the demand is high. This is by no way a reflection on the quality of his work
