"Alex was the second estimate I received. He came over, checked out the area and promised a free estimate via email that evening. True to his promise, he emailed me a very fair estimate, I called him and accepted his proposal. I asked him regarding payment and he said to pay him when the job was done. He showed up on Monday, three days after the visit. He and his young helper started right in. Because heavy rains were expected they covered the area up tight. The next morning they began laying the pavers. I told him I needed to go to the grocery store and would be back in approx an hour. Upon my return I was amazed that they had the patio completely paved and were working on the finishing touches. This man is an excellent mason and very courteous to work with. "08-AUG-2025 Issues began immediately after hiring Pro Foundation & Masonry. During the estimate, I told Foreman Bobby there was no mortar in the cinder blocks. He gave a quote that I believed included proper mortar. On Aug-12-2025, I raised the issue again?he said he was ?focused on the damaged area.? When digging, a missing footing section was found, and Bobby quoted $22,500, which I thought was too high. Though he fixed some cracks, major ones in the cellar were ignored. They used the wrong mortar (not S mortar as discussed) and left sloppy drippings inside the wall. I sent photos on Aug-23; Bobby replied on Aug-25 saying the floor was dirt. Promised cleanup on Aug-30 never happened. I followed up repeatedly?no one came. They even left a dangerous cinder remnant that I tripped on. A section of wall was filled with concrete instead of block?looks unprofessional. They say one thing, do another. I?m very unhappy with their work and service. They're gonna fix the two crack on my fieldstone foundation. The manager Rey came and he felt really bad that the foreman left in this way they left it. He was really pretty readsonable."
