"Damian was great and fair in his pricing. He fixed a leak in a pipe in our upstairs bathroom by cutting into the wall and applying the necessary repairs to stop the leak. The work was very professional and I would definitely hire him again to fix any of my issues plumbing issues in the future."

"The difference is incredible. I have yet to send in the water test post installation, but just by feel and taste I can tell there is a drastic difference. It wasn't a cheap project but I feel like I got what I paid for. Crew was professional and nice and the installation was tight and methodical - and that's what I wanted. I recommend with complete confidence."

"My gas oven was making a terrible, high-pitched whistling sound each time I turned on the oven.  The sound continued until the selected temp was reached and then each time the oven kicked on to maintain it.  (This was very h****** my dog!)  National Grid was called and determined that it wasn't a gas leak.  The National Grid person service person had never heard the sound before.
I called Brian and had the good fortune he could come over fairly quickly the same day.  He had never heard this sound before either. After spending some time gently moving the oven away from the wall, removing the bottom drawer and vacuuming under the oven,  Brian methodically tried and tested various things to rule out the source of the problem.  He finally determined the source was an extremely small part with a very small imperfection.  He cleaned off the part and re-installed it.  He tested the fix a number of ways to ensure the oven remained noiseless. He also made note of the part number so he can get it for me should the noise return.
I'm very grateful to have been able to get Brian's time so quickly.   He could have sold me additional parts I didn't need.  His work ethic sets him apart from many others and I'm delighted to have found him.   I will HIGHLY recommend Brian to all my friends and will get in touch with him again when appliances, etc. need his expertise.

"The bathroom looks amazing now.  The tile floor is beautiful and very well done.  I very much feel like I got my money's worth.  I'm going to have him come back in a couple months for some more work on other parts of the house.

I needed a contractor to take care of re-doing the bathroom because the old sink had a leak in the drain. Because I don't go into the cabinet the sink was on very often and everything I need in there is right at the front, I didn't notice the leak for some time (luckily all water damage was confined to the cabinet).  Since the previous owner didn't put the flooring under the cabinet, new flooring was going to be needed.  From talking with Bob, I decided on a tile floor.  When we got to talking about what pattern to use for the tile, I just assumed it would be a grid pattern, but he recommended to have the rows offset.  Going with the offset looks so good and I'm glad he recommended it.

The plumber that took care of installing the new sink did a great job.  The pipes and drain in the wall needed to be moved over and aligned (I went with a pedestal style sink) as well as the sink being installed.  Both times he came over, he was on time, friendly, and worked quickly and thoroughly.

In addition to the work Bob did in the bathroom, he took the time to give me very good advice for home repair, which since I'm new to owning a home I needed.  He also took the time to answer any questions I had, about this and future projects."

"Harmond helped me over video link to test the components in my broken refrigerator. The testing confirmed that it was the compressor that had failed. I purchased a new refrigerator because I decided it was not worth the cost to replace the compressor."

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

No, you do not have to worry about new popcorn ceilings having asbestos. All residential building materials used since the mid-1980s stopped including asbestos, so new popcorn ceilings have no risk of asbestos. You can still create a textured drywall ceiling with a popcorn texture if you like, but new techniques have no risk of adding asbestos.

If you hire a dedicated asbestos inspector near you in addition to your local home inspector, it will cost between $200 and $800. If, however, your general home inspector happens to be certified as an asbestos inspector, they can charge you a smaller fee and tack on the cost to the home inspection. In general, home inspectors do not do physical testing, but will provide a visual assessment so you know what you are working with.

Since the EPA partially banned asbestos in 1989, it is no longer used to manufacture new siding in the United States; production had largely ceased by the early 1980s. Many other countries, such as Canada, Iceland, and Denmark, also have bans on asbestos. However, asbestos siding is still present in many homes built before the late 1980s. The only definitive way to know if your siding contains asbestos is to have it professionally lab-tested.

Asbestos testing is conducted by collecting samples from materials suspected to contain asbestos and analyzing them in laboratories for confirmed presence.

Asbestos is absolutely cancerous. In fact, around 4% of all lung cancer cases are the result of asbestos exposure. This is why we recommend a full, professional removal and cleaning of any asbestos found in your home. If you are unsure whether there is any present, you should call a pro who will inspect your property.
