"Vista has come to our house, especially a particular gentleman. Really knowledgeable, very professional. They do several different things. I have had them out to do estimates on gutters. We have not hired them for anything. To give you an idea, when they've come out I was very happy to open the door and see it was the same guy that has come several times to do several things. Not only did he come, and it's a little confusing to me because it has to do with ventilation and insulation, and excuse my language but there is a whole freaking science to this thing, but the owner actually came out. My need for a new countertop became apparent when I had a plumber remove my kitchen sink to replace it with a new one.  This happened in September 2014.  Since the countertop needed to be replaced, I decided the time had come to also address issues with the kitchen cabinets.  I got several quotes.  As far as price goes, Saltwater Woodworks was somewhere in the middle, but Matt Sullivan listened carefully, made good suggestions about how to accomplish my objectives, and was the only one who would commit to getting my kitchen back in working condition by Thanksgiving.  And he delivered on this promise.

I am very happy with the work.  There were some problems encountered.  The finish on the new cabinet doors did not match the finish on the refinished cabinet boxes as well as expected; three of the new drawer fronts were damaged during installation and had to be replaced; there was a problem with the hinges on one cabinet door.  All of these problems were corrected to my complete satisfaction and without any objection. 

The entire project, with corrections, took longer than I anticipated.  But once the initial deadline of getting the kitchen up and running by Thanksgiving was met, I was willing to be patient about the corrections and did not press for speedier action.  Matt Sullivan was very good about communication, and I never worried that he would fail to follow through.

"Over a period of about 16 months, C&J Construction Services performed extensive renovations on my 155 year-old house.  They started in January 2012 with exterior renovations, which included new shingles and exterior trim, new windows and doors, new porch, entryway and roof (including replacement of underlay), as well as a new bulkhead, rebuilt chimney, and stonework around the exterior.
