"The team from McLaughlin Weatherization, who completed the work from my Mass Save Program energy audit to install insulation in my attic was AWESOME! They were a team of 3, who ensured the job got done efficiently and well. Professional, courteous and personable! I was very pleased with how they entered my home, treated my home and me while in it and when they left they even brushed up the very last of any dirt they might have brought in. I cannot rave enough about how great the experience was because I was able to work downstairs and stay out of their way but they definitely went above and beyond in my opinion! I didn't know the front door would get a package of weather stripping too. So while that was nice, the guy in charge of the team of 3 not only removed the old to install the new, the front door closes properly now! I cannot thank you enough for this small act of kindness (even if it was fixed with the new trim) because I had been so worried about my kitties getting out one day because the latch would not catch to keep the door closed. Also, the senior member leading the team demonstrated his years of experience and knowledge and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this company as a partner for Mass Save and I would personally pay them for any future work needed if not covered by Mass Save."

"Our central air conditioning system failed during the worst heat and humidity streak in more than a decade. When our AC contractor arrived to look at replacing the system, he pointed out that none of our 3 attics were insulated. We called Coleman Spray Foam. The put a highly knowledgeable rep on-site in less than 24 hours. One day later we received and signed their proposal. Crews arrived 2 days later and worked in unbearable heat and humidity in our attics until we had R50 insulation (needed for AC/Heat Pump). I would have them back in a heartbeat and highly recommend them for anyone in need of spray foam insulation."

"We are beyond pleased with the services provided by Hughes. Their workers were exceptional. They showed up on time, were polite, explained the process as the job progressed, answered all our questions and were extremely respectful of our home. They cleaned up as they went along and were very quiet. This was not an easy job. The slant roof and small space must have made this job all the more challenging because you can't stand up straight. The guys still managed to get it done within the time frame they had committed to and never once complained. "MEL did a spray foam insulation of my attic last fall. This was a complex job as it required careful co-ordination with separate HVAC and electrician teams (we were also replacing HVAC, which is located in the attic, and upgrading our electric wiring infrastructure). The MEL team was a blast to work with and did an outstanding job - and I don't use such adjectives freely when describing contractor work around our house. First, Mo went to great lengths to assess our attic and propose the right solution .. for example, during the proposal process, he was the only one out of 5 contractors who crawled into a narrow space in a distant part of the attic to inspect it. Second, the work the team did, was truly first class .. we went from massive ice dams before to literally not a single icicle hanging from the roof last winter! I was also very pleased with the clean-up they did, with two rounds of detail-like vacuuming of the attic. Third, MEL's co-ordination with HVAC and electricians was very effective, in spite of major hiccups with our HVAC contractors. Finally, these guys really understand and live the concept of 'customer focus'; their communication is very professional, and it is not unusual that they respond within an hour! The only weakness I would point out was their carpentry subcontractor (Adilson), who left a small piece of work unfinished and I felt he overcharged us for a minor change order. This spring, I hired MEL again to do a smaller project involving rim joint insulation in the basement. Josue led the project, while Mo was on vacation. The experience was as positive as the attic experience. I would recommend MEL without any reservations."

Roland came in and quickly spotted the problem areas. He assured me that the could fix these problems immediately. He used a combination of rearranging existing batts, blown-in fiberglass and spray foam to seal the attic space, over the course of two visits. He's extremely personable and always called me back or answered the phone right away."
