"I had the estimate for the work done which went fine, then called to book the appointment. Was required to put down $200 for the $650 projected repair cost. I did this thinking there would be no issues between then and the repair date. My wife is quite pregnant and we had to move up the repair date to get the nursery ready in time for their birth. (twins) When I called to cancel this appointment and seek a refund of the $200, I was told that the window to cancel was 3 days from the scheduling and that I was forfeit my deposit. This information is in the contract, but I did not catch it at the time. I could only imagine if this were a bigger project and something like this happened to someone else. For the cost of $200 Pioneer Basement has not only lost me as a future customer, but forced my hand in posting several poor reviews such as this one. For any future customers, pay very close attention to this and hope "life" doesn't happen to you in between. Good luck."

"Do not use this company! The have horrible service! Their technicians do not know what they are doing. They will never show up on time and will not keep you in the loop on what is going on. They took 3 months and charged me $2000 too, and never fixed my AC. Eventually, they said I need to replace it after spending all that money. They also left a huge mess in my house. I could never get in touch with anybody from the company or the technician."

"I cannot recommend Danny and team enough. I purchased a home with an in-ground pool that had been neglected for a long time. I had multiple pool companies come out saying I would be better off starting over or I should just fill it in. Danny didn’t even flinch, saying he had seen it all and even enjoyed completing the projects that others won’t touch. Once his team got started, they were here every day and worked incredibly hard. It took them just a few months to reinforce the concrete walls, replace all the plumbing and electrical, install a custom tanning ledge and install a 2,000 square foot patio around it. All while working within my budget. I was very nervous going into this project due to all the horror stories I had read about, but you can feel confident Danny and team will get it done."
