"I highly recommend NE Carpentry for quality of workmanship, professionalism, and good communication from beginning to end. We had four old windows replaced, two in a rental apartment where the tenant was working. The workers were sensitive in keeping noise and disruption to a minimum. Wood was replaced where necessary around window frames, all was painted at completion, and cleanup left all in order. The two workers, as well as Gil, were a pleasure to work with and to have in our home. We had NE Carpentry renovate two back porches two years ago. We will continue to turn to them for their excellent work as needed in the future."

"Gaby helped us remodel our kitchen. We wanted to keep our existing custom cabinets but modernize the appearance. Gaby transformed the look from a country style kitchen to a more modern, crisp design by: -extending the cabinets about 10” to the ceiling, and adding molding and trim work -replacing faux legs in our island and cooking area with clean edges -building custom decorative panels for the island and columns -removing a cabinet to make room for a beverage center -countless repairs and fixes Gaby also coordinated painting - both the cabinets and the ceiling/walls, and painted over 50 cabinet doors/drawers himself. The painting turned out absolutely beautiful and professional - as if the cabinets were white from the beginning. He also coordinated many of the other jobs, including recommending an electrician for us who was also very reliable and professional. In many ways, he acted like a GC for us in addition to a carpenter. Can’t say enough about Gaby. He is an outstanding, meticulous carpenter. He knows his stuff in and out. He is reliable, prompt, efficient, reasonable, and goes above and beyond to deliver amazing results. Not only did they engage quickly and provide and estimate quickly but they showed up when they said they would and left the work site in better shape than it was when they got here. "I reached out to a number of contractors on Angie's List, as well as to another contractor (not currently shown on Angie's List) with whom I'd worked in the past.  Billy Neary was the only one who called me back very promptly and he agreed to meet me at my apartment very early the following morning (before I had to be at work) to scope out the job.  Within 24 hours he provided me with an estimate and he and his partner showed up to do the work three days later, exactly when he said he'd be there.
The repair, which involved a fair amount of detailed finished carpentry, was beautifully performed within a couple of hours.  Moreover, because he was able to salvage some of the existing hardware, he charged me less than his original estimate.  Throughout, Billy was exceedingly professional and a pleasure to work with.  I would engage him again without hesitation.
