But the good thing about that is everyone gets to read a review with an update 1.5 years later on the quality of the work completed! In late 2020 I had recently moved into my new home and the gas water heater wasn't working properly. It was leaky and at least needed the pressure relief valve replaced, but the tank was well past it's expected lifetime. The techs were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The valve replacement wasn't going to work because repairing the tank could damage it further, so the tank was replaced instead. The price was very reasonable and installation was done really well. They did a great job with cleanup too! One and a half years later and the tank has had zero issues! I would definitely recommend them for heavy jobs like this or more simple ones around the house. "Don is by far the best contractor with whom we have ever worked. We have a history of bad experiences with other contractors over the years in NH, particularly around communication—not showing up when they say that would, not hearing anything for days, not returning calls, and having the final steps drawn out for extended periods. Don, on the other hand, was very calm, reliable (very important for me), competent and accommodating during the stress of living with construction for several weeks while trying also to maintain COVID isolation. Under these conditions, we could not have asked for a better, more organized or competent contractor. He always followed through, kept us informed when issues arose, and was easy to communicate with, as the project extended for several weeks. Don scheduled his time so that he could focus on our project and get it done according to the plan. He worked with us around delays that were not his fault—at one point we had to quarantine when our grandson was exposed, and twice the granite countertops we ordered were broken delaying the final installation. Although these were not Don’s fault, he went out of his way to minimize the delay when the work would be finalized. Don and his crew were quiet, cleaned up after each day, easy to communicate with and competent. Don also accommodated a couple of small, extra projects that emerged as we saw what the new addition would look like. I cannot recommend Handyman911 high enough. We are already planning to have him back for some other work when we return to NH next summer."

"Alex and his team (Geoff - plumber, Bruno - electrician) did an outstanding job. Alex responded to my initial query to Angie's list within 10 minutes..... so fast! He then had the plumber, Geoff out there within several days. Geoff was superb. He replaced the disposal and sink faucet and drain, upgrading the plumbing to code in the process. Thus, the robustness of our plumbing was greatly improved by what Geoff did (bringing our plumbing to code required raising some valves, and converting some metal/plastic interfaces to metal/metal). We did run into one problem, which was that the disposal switch developed a short circuit. Alex quickly had an electrician (Bruno) come by. Bruno did an outstanding job, working quickly but improving the electrical box by adding an extra switch. Thus, once again, the entire system was improved by their high quality work. Geoff in particular ended up spending more time than initially anticipated, so the price was double what was initially quoted, but I felt that a lot more work was done than initially anticipated, the work was high quality, Geoff and Bruno both worked quickly and hard (taking no breaks), so ultimately I felt that the cost was well worth it. Very fair. Alex also manages everything from afar, and does a great job. He responds immediately to subsequent calls and has an excellent interaction style. I would definitely hire them again and strongly recommend them!"
