C. Grealish GC is a construction company that specializes in carpentry and roof as well as all your general contractor needs. We accept cash and check.

"After having early success with Coleman‘s performance, we entered into a large project converting a three family into condominiums. Coleman perpetually exceeded timeline and budget. The work was at times very shoddy and needed constant attention. There were so many items left to either be installed fixed or replaced when Coleman abandon the job that it has cost nearly $10,000 to get to proper closing. And when I say Coleman has disappeared, it is literally. He stop showing up to the job, stopped answering calls or texts, yep left a legacy of unfulfilled promises. Prior to this job, I had paid Coleman over $50,000 to complete a overhaul on my home. Coleman did a few thousand dollars of work and also has abandoned this job and again, no contact. A couple of referrals I had given him have contacted me letting me know that in one case, he has left them hanging without completing the work and in the second case the work was at best Poor and needing a new contractors attention. I will be litigating most of my issues with him very shortly. As far as a recommendation all I can say is let the buyer beware"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

Even if you’re just replacing your carpet and not your baseboards, experts recommend removing existing baseboards before installing new carpet. This allows for a clean and seamless installation without the risk of damaging the baseboards or the carpet. Additionally, removing the baseboards gives you the opportunity to stain or repaint them as well as inspect and repair any underlying issues with the walls or flooring.

A 65-oz. carpet is good, and in many cases, it indicates a premium carpet. Most carpets for homes should fall in the range of 40 to 60 ounces for face weight. If a carpet has a 65-oz. face weight, it is likely more durable and long-lasting than a similar carpet with a lower face weight. Carpet face weight is just one factor in determining a carpet’s quality.

Berber is the most expensive type of carpet, followed by textured carpet. Berber costs $3 to $20 per square foot, and textured carpet ranges from $1 to $12 per square foot. Berber features fibers arranged in short, thick loops, making it extraordinarily durable. The most expensive carpet material is wool, followed by acrylic, Triexta, and cotton. Wool costs $4 to $20 per square foot and is a beautiful, luxurious, and durable material. Acrylic, Triexta, and cotton range from $2 to $8 per square foot.

As a durable, attractive, and eco-friendly flooring option, bamboo flooring can increase your home’s value. With that said, the condition of your floors can affect the resale value of your house. If they’re in poor shape or don’t look like they were installed by a professional, it can negatively impact how buyers perceive your property.

You might be wondering, “Is laminate flooring toxic?” The product does contain formaldehyde, which is found in the resins used to bind the wood fibers together. But the chance of overexposure and adverse reactions, such as allergy- or asthma-like symptoms, is low unless you are exposed to formaldehyde in other places, i.e., if you work with formaldehyde regularly outside the home. Keep in mind, too, that many household products have the potential to pose a health hazard, such as cleaning products.
