Each window had different issues I contacted them and they came and did an estimate for the work. They also explained exactly what work would be done. They were very thorough and transparent. They did the estimate in the fall and the work was scheduled in the spring. They came on the date that was scheduled, amazing! "Gusty wind threw a rock and smash one of our storm window. I found Arlmont Glass from Angies List. Called first thing in the morning. I was thinking it is going to be a 2 weeks project (schedule appointment for estimate, and schedule another appointment for work....etc). But April was so extremely helpful. She sent someone over to the house to give an estimate within 2 hours and gave a very reasonable quote. The work was done on the same day as well. Within another few hours, the work was done. While they were there, I also have them fix a piece of glass on our garage door that has a crack. Their quality of work was excellent. Everything was handle with care and they are very professional. Another gem I found on Angies' List. I will definitely use them again for future glass projects."

"I had just moved here, to a house that needs a lot of work. Bob Phalan was thorough, skilled, and effective. For the initial assessment, he found that the frame around the basement door had been ajar for years, which was one reason it leaked air so badly. He replaced the entire frame, as well as the door. It's beautiful now. For the window, he put in an energy-efficient Harvey replacement with a lot more glass, so the basement isn't as dark. He worked around a thicket of electrical cables and plumbing, which limited his access, but the results look great. As a result, the basement is five degrees warmer now. The first-floor rooms are warmer, too, because there are several places (fireplace, plumbing) where the basement air leaks upstairs. I'll get to those soon... He's not the cheapest guy out there, but he's very, very good. Plus, he didn't waste my time, or his."
