"It went well! I expected it to take a long time to get it picked up, but I called for the bag to be emptied on Friday and they were here Saturday! I am already filling it up again. (We have a MESS from the storm and need to finish the kitchen before this weekend's company coming in from out of town.) I have already called them to request my bag be emptied on Friday, and they have me on the schedule! I can't believe the customer service is so great! This is not a regular dumpster company. Jan 28, 2016: We wanted vanities for 2 bathrooms and base and upper cabinets for a kitchen expansion. We were hoping to take advantage of free design services from Kitchen Design Center of Framingham (KCOF).

The cabinets did not meet our expectations. Instead of getting bathroom vanities we received kitchen cabinets for the bathrooms, meaning the vanities were significantly deeper than normal bath vanities. We provided the cabinet designer with specs for our bath sinks but the designer neglected to check to see if the sink would fit into the cabinet that they designed. After the marble counter was already produced we found out that the sink wouldn't fit and the solution proposed by Kitchen Design Center of Framingham was to cut down the sides of the cabinet and drawer boxes significantly. This solution was unacceptable and would void our warranty. Instead we found a replacement sink which would fit the cabinet and replaced the marble counter. Kitchen Design Center of Framingham refused to take any responsibility for their design error. Reluctantly, Kitchen Design Center of Framingham agreed to split the cost of the replacement marble counter, but insisted that these sorts of design issues happen all the time - yikes! In reality, we paid $580 for "free" design services.

The kitchen cabinets installation was also disappointing. None of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts line up as they should. The installers insisted that the cabinets were installed in the best possible way and said that it isn't possible to align the doors and drawer fronts, blaming the situation on the Wood Mode cabinets. During the design process we weren't notified that this would be the case. In fact, we don't believe that Wood Mode would make cabinets which didn't allow alignment of doors and drawer fronts. In fact, the entire rest of our kitchen is Wood Mode cabinets which align very nicely.

March 16, 2016: Following our initial review, Dave Bartlett at KCOF contacted us to see what could be done to rectify the situation. He agreed to pay the remaining balance ($580) for the marble countertop that wasn't used due to the sink change. He also agreed to come to the house and look at the door and drawer alignment issues. During his visit, he identified 2 issues and arranged to have these issues addressed. As a result, the alignment on the drawer and cabinet doors is improved.

"We hired Todd for an extensive remodel of our home and couldn’t be more thrilled with how nice it turned out, how smooth the process was, and how helpful Todd was along the entire way. The project has been complete for a while, I am just now following up with a long overdue review. Downstairs Todd removed 2 walls including a staircase to create an open living space for us. Where the walls were removed, he installed 3 new support beams per the engineer’s design, and then wrapped them with rustic oak boards to make them look like original beams, and they turned out beautifully. He installed all new trim around the downstairs windows to match the rest of the house. Todd gutted our old kitchen and built an island for us, installing all new cabinets, crown molding, and the appliances. He even custom modified 2 drawers in the island so that we could conceal the electrical outlets behind part of the drawer panel but not lose the entire storage space of the drawer. He did such a great job with the drawer modification they look like they came that way from the factory. The entire kitchen turned out perfect. During the same remodel, we also hired Todd to combine 2 bedrooms into a new master suite. This involved removing walls, installing a beam, and installing new walls for the new master bathroom and closet. While the ceiling was opened up Todd noticed a drip coming from above on a rainy day, and after finding the source, he offered us a very reasonable price to replace a small section of siding to ensure we wouldn’t have any water issues. We are grateful he was so observant and willing to go the extra mile for us by fixing this issue that was not originally in our scope. In the new master bathroom the extensive amount of tile and the new glass shower enclosure that he installed couldn’t have turned out any nicer, all the lines were perfect. He took great care in his tile usage, minimizing waste with his cuts which we appreciated especially on the expensive tile he installed in a decorative strip. Todd was great to work with throughout the entire project and very professional day in and day out. Being such a large project, as it progressed there were several things we realized we wanted to add to the workscope while everything was opened up. Todd was very accommodating and gave us reasonable prices for each addition we threw his way. We appreciated his flexibility very much. Todd also helped us with various design considerations, and had some great ideas that helped us work with the engineer to get the upstairs beams laid out in a way that optimized our new space. He pays close attention to detail and worked hard to ensure we would be happy with the end result of the project. Overall Todd is a real pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him and the quality of his work."

"On Saturday night our kitchen sink stopped draining cleanly.  Sunday morning we called and left a message with the answering service; Jason called back about 15 minutes later and said he'd be by in about an hour and half.  Jason showed up on time, snaked the sink.  After the first attempt and running water it was obvious the blockage was still there.  Jason's persistence paid off, as his second attempt located the piece of plastic which was causing the blockage.  
While working on the sink Jason noticed the pipework under the sink was shaky (both literally and figuratively).  Based on some issues we had previously had with the pipes in other areas of the house in the past, this seemed like a legitimate concern.  After cleaning up on Sunday, Jason provided a range of possible estimates ranging from a basic pipe rework to additional options including the new disposal.  Since the disposal was fairly old, we decided to upgrade that at the same time.  This meant the work couldn't be done on Sunday, however.
We called on Monday to set up a time for the other work and agreed on Friday morning.  Jason came back, did the work, cleaned up, and left.  So far so good!
Jason was very nice and had a good sense of humor about the work and being called out on a Sunday morning; we'd certainly use him again in the future.
