"We had a list of items that needed to be completed (driveways lamps posts/lighting, cathedral ceiling fan, various fixtures, etc.) and a couple of more involved projects we were thinking of doing, like a hot tub installation. Harland Electric was responsive, prompt, courteous and professional throughout the entire process—from initial contact, estimate and work. They itemized each of the projects so that we could pick and choose the work that needed to be done, and were helpful in detailing the complexities of certain projects and weighing the pros and cons of having electrical work done. During the course of coming to the house and knocking every item off of our list (which took 1.2 days worth of work/time), they also alerted us to an electrical fire hazard for an outdoor flood light that another electrician from another previous company just left and said was okay. They replaced the entire light and wiring and now it looks great the way it illuminates our side yard! We even overpaid at the end of the project and they immediately let us know! They are scheduled to return in the spring to install a pool heater and we have no doubt they will do a great job. Overall, great service, highly ethical company and good value overall. Highly recommend!"

"We have had VMA do a couple of big projects done for us. This last project involved replacing the underground electrical line from the box near the sidewalk to the house. VMA coordinated everything, Eversource disconnect and reconnect, town inspection, excavation, laying of conduit containing the new line, and installation of the new meter. They also installed an additional conduit for a future fiber optic cable. I have recommended VMA to others because of the excellent communication, work ethic, efficiency, good value for the money, courtesy, and quality of work. "The two young men who performed the installation were informative, professional, cordial, and they left the scene spotless. There was a technical problem with the engine on the generator itself, which they weren't able to help with, because they weren't licensed to work on the specific brand of generator. That might be something to check on before hiring for this type of job."

"Hello Everyone! I'd like to give Milltown a shout out for installing our new HTP Combo unit. I'd like to especially thank Garret, Brandon, and Kat for pulling the whole thing together and making the installation as seamless as possible. Also, shout out to HTP for replacing a defective unit. They stood up and did the right thing when they didn't have to. Milltown went above and beyond what a plumbing company would typically do. When our combo unit failed, we lost heat and hot water. Milltown was able to hook up a temporary hot water tank so my family had access to heated water for showering, dishes, etc. Everyone I spoke to were genuinely concerned and could not have been more professional in their workmanship, cleanliness, and finished product. I am very pleased with everything from start to finish."
