This is what happened when I took the grandkids home that day ! I am the home owner's Mother and I was the one at the home when Bennett's came to do the repair. I hope it is ok that I write this review. It was literally raining from the ceiling onto the dining room table. It looked as if the ceiling would fall at any moment. That story is long and damage was extensive so I will focus on the hot water heater. Bennett's was called. They came . THey brought a new hot water heater. Now this is an upstairs project . SOoooooo, the old water heater must be drained and brought down the stairs. Then the new one has to be carried upstairs. Bennett's did send TWO men , thank goodness. The next step should have been simple, however, it was not. They soon discovered that the old water heater could not be taken out nor the new one put in UNTIL..... the upstairs air conditioning unit , which was comfortable on a strong wooden support system, was located a little bit (which was too much) in front of the old water heater. It was too heavy to lift up above the air unit, and there was not enough space to pull it straight out . These guys were creative, determined and skilled ! After working a very very very long time, they moved the air unit over , brought the old water heater down the stairs, took the new one up the stairs , and finished the job. AND, they kept their pleasant attitude and considered it all in a day's work... The job was neat , the air unit was put back in place and the new hot water heater was in it's place! I would certainly recommend them . They will do an A+ job for you. Most of their time was covered by Home Warranty Insurance and my daughter only paid them $180.

He found our drain from the kitchen sink was running slightly uphill, which explained years of slow, but functioning drainage. He had to run new drain pipes for the undercounter sink anyway, so he got the drain lowered into the main stack by 10 inches!
Dropping the drain to the main stack took time, as we have an older home and he had to cut into a cast iron stack pipe and move the dishwasher to access the stack.
Now you can't stand too close to the kitchen sink when it drains as you'll may get sucked in! :)
The tankless hot water heater works great and under the sink looks very uncluttered and quot;pipe-wiseand quot;.
Bubba did a great job and I will hire him for any future plumbing jobs I can't handle. I had done everything correctly except for one crucial thing - I had overtightened the nut. Yep, tiny little hairline fracture in the bowl causing a leak. I was very annoyed at myself. So I removed the toilet again, went and bought a new one, but was gun shy about setting it myself. I was afraid I would do the same thing. Called Scuba Plumbing. He came out and set the new toilet for me for a very reasonable price since I had already done all of the prep work. The total price I've quoted is an estimate because I cannot recall the amount and don't have the records from that long ago.
While he was at the house, he also reworked the drain pipeline for the disposal that I had replaced myself under the sink. It was not leaking, but I was not confident that it would not begin to leak given that the pipes did not fit together perfectly with the newer disposal.
Neither of the jobs were large, but he a good job and didn't charge very much. Of course, I don't have a basis for comparison for larger jobs. Perhaps I need to give Scuba another try. He unclogged the sink by running a snake down the drain. As it turns out, we have a cracked pipe underneath the slab, so they didn't guarantee the work. He was very nice and conscientious about cleaning up his mess (it was minor) and keeping his work area clean and tidy. It has been several months and the sink still has not clogged. He recommended a camera down the drain if it does clog again to see just where the crack is."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/la/monroe/all-plumbing-247-inc-reviews-2295905.htm"},"position":4},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"PARADISE ENTERPRISES INC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"LA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Anna H."},"reviewBody":"Demolition involved removal of two short walls and doorways, existing flooring, drywall and fixtures, and the existing ceiling which was very low. Paradise Enterprise has (had?) its own carpenters and electricians. The carpenters and electricians showed up as promised and their work seems to have been of very good quality.
The drywall/paint crew can do a good job when they choose to. Unfortunately, they frequently did not show up when promised, sometimes for days at a time, which delayed other work. And they seem to do the bare minimum in some cases but do very well in others. For example, the staining on the new French doors is beautiful, and though it was a mess to deal with repainting the master bedroom because of things that the previous owner had done, they did an exemplary job. However, in the new bathroom, someone assumed I wanted crown molding, so they were not careful when taping and mudding the joints between the wall and ceiling. They also mixed up the paint colors more than once even though they had a list of the correct paint colors.
The tile work was done by a crew from Bob Moss Carpet One working through Paradise Enterprises. Like the other people on the job, they were all very courteous. The people in the store were very helpful when I was picking out tiles and colors. The work was generally OK. However, they used a few defective tiles in highly visible spots rather than discarding those tiles and did not place tiles well in a couple of corners. I pointed out the problems, but I don't have time to keep riding them to correct something that should have never happened in the first place or to deal with the mess of having it all ripped out and put back in again.
The plumbing fixtures were provided by LCR/Plumbing Warehouse in West Monroe, as recommended by the contractor. Generally, the face-to-face customer service was good while I was in the store and they were very patient with helping me find what I wanted within my price range, but they dropped the ball on getting some of the fixtures to me on time. As a result of their failing to let us know there was a problem, the toilet I had planned on having access to after surgery didn't arrive and get installed. It would have been easy to order something else in its place had I known of the delay. They also failed to order a valve for the shower, and then the wrong one was ordered. In the end, that ended up working to my advantage - the incorrect one was the more expensive fixture, but they did not charge me the higher price.
Plumbing for the bathroom was done by Kelly Plumbing, again contracted by Paradise Enterprises. On the whole, they seem to have done a good job. They handled most of the problems with the plumbing hardware and fixture hiccups, and there was only one minor adjustment required to one of the drainpipes after the job was finished. However, I just recently, I replaced the Kohler toilet with a Toto toilet myself. The Toto works much better (more powerful flush, so no sewer back ups). During the replacement, I discovered that the toilet flange that Kelly Plumbing installed was not attached to the floor (my house is raised). I'm not sure how sound of a plumbing practice that is.
Some of the extra cost over and above the estimate is because I chose to install stained wood cabinets instead of painted cabinets. There were also some problems with getting the cabinets stained evenly. They had to redo it. I also had to get them to sand the cabinets before the second coat of polyurethane - the painters seemed to think it was not necessary despite the rough surface created by the first coat. I also had my kitchen, utility room, and a second bathroom painted while the work was going on. In all, the work took June through November, and I was a good $15,000 over budget. The delays that did occur were because of the drywall/paint crew and the plumbing supply house that failed to notify us of a problem with getting fixtures in.
Bud Crow, the contractor, will provide you with an itemized list of everything that is purchased for the work. You pay for that plus labor plus his 10% mark up. I really should have kept track of the hours of labor. I don't think I was intentionally overcharged for labor by Bud, but it's possible that some of his crew mistakenly reported that they were at work for me when they were working somewhere else instead. A couple of times, items in the list of purchased things were items that were not used on my job, and Bud readily removed them from the charges. It's easy to identify a color of paint or stain or that was not purchased for your remodel, but it can be difficult to know if mud, tape, or nails on an itemized list is for your job or for another person's job.
The one really strong positive about this contractor and his crew - I did not hesitate to leave them alone at my house all day. I had to go to work to make a living myself."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/la/monroe/paradise-enterprises-inc-reviews-5566295.htm"},"position":5},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"AA Plumbing","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"LA","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Sharon L."},"reviewBody":"Rough in measuring was done without allowing for brick ledge which put all drains off which resulted in walls having to be moved. Main drain was put in on opposite side of house than on plans which means the natural drainage will not be used. Only ran 1 water line to kitchen island for sink and dishwasher so we had to trench concrete to add other line. this is just examples of problems, we finally had to fire them and find another plumber to come in and fix problems and finish job which ended up costing much more than it should. The owner sent young guys to do the job and never checked to make sure all was done right, when contacted either he was too busy or just didn't show up."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/la/west-monroe/aa-plumbing-reviews-2297929.htm"},"position":6}]}

FAQs for french drain service projects in Richwood, LA
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
