Bennett Heat Air & Electric

For the appliances, Bennett was pretty good once they finally showed up. They would schedule a visit, call on the day of the visit and say they needed to reschedule for another day. This happened multiple times for the appliance repair visit. For the A/C work, Bennett came out and began work wit 36 hours of the original call, but they provided shoddy workmanship. The condenser motor quit working and for repair, the service technician left wires hanging out the top of my unit and bent the grille on top of the condenser unit to HOLD the wires up and out of the fan blades. I have tried working with them and the home warranty service company (American Home Shield) diligently to get the unit repaired to original conditions to no avail. As a result, I have now called a different company out to repair the unit back to the original condition. See the picture below for the work they consider to be acceptable. Think long and hard before you use this company for any repairs. It simply isn't worth the hassle. Find a more reputable business.

As far as I can tell, they did a great job. They answered her questions. The cost was reasonable and everything else. I wouldn't say that they were phenomenal or over the top but, it was good. I would call them again to do work in the future. The best part was that they were responsive, they addressed all of her questions and didn't make her feel sorry for asking them. The only reason I am not going with the A is because she either can't remember or they didn't address what could be going on underneath her house. In my opinion, that would have given them the A. If they had gone and taken a quick look at it and given her a write up. She is struggling to remember what they said if anything. I don't know if it's her, maybe she had a writeup saying, 'here is everything we did' from an invoice perspective. She could go back and reference that. I think that is their only opportunity if that makes sense.

!Called ahead and was there promptly.  Removed old cooktop but the new one was of different dimensions  below the surface so could not install but they would be back if we needed hem to wire it up once the hole was made larger.  Found the problem with our heatpump and fixed it and we learned alot  in the process.  Wish I had mentioned Angies List to get the discount!

it went very well, they were on time as promised, and repaired it and everything is still working well - and its' 7 months later!

They were great.  They were quick to come, they were very nice, helped to clean up which a lot of repair men don’t, he was nice to talk to, they did not here for long but he got it fixed.  He was reasonably priced.

Have you ever come home and discovered that your upstairs hot water heater had leaked all day while you were at work?
This is what happened when I took the grandkids home that day !
I am the home owner's Mother and I was the one at the home when Bennett's came to do the repair.  I hope it is ok that I write this review.
It was literally raining from the ceiling onto the dining room table.  It looked as if the ceiling would fall at any moment.
That story is long and damage was extensive so I will  focus on the hot water heater.
Bennett's was called.  They came .   THey brought a new hot water heater.  
Now this is an upstairs project .  SOoooooo, the old water heater must be drained and brought down the stairs.
Then the new one has to be carried upstairs.   Bennett's did send TWO men , thank goodness.
The next step should have been simple, however, it was not.
They soon discovered that the old water heater could not be taken out nor the new one put in UNTIL.....
the upstairs air conditioning unit , which was comfortable on a strong wooden support system,was located a little bit (which was too much) in front of the old water heater.  It was too heavy to lift up above the air unit, and there was not enough space to pull it straight out .
These guys were creative, determined and skilled !    After working a very very very long time, they moved the air unit over , brought the old water heater down the stairs, took the new one up the stairs , and finished the job.
AND, they kept their pleasant attitude and considered it all in a day's work...
The job was neat , the air unit was put back in place and the new hot water heater was in it's place!
I would certainly recommend them .  They will do an A+ job for you.
Most of their time was covered by Home Warranty Insurance and my daughter  only paid them $180. 

It went good. They were prompt, on time and courteous.

Russell and his helper Travis did an excellent job! They tracked down the problem (neutral wires) and restored power to all outlets in both rooms. They were careful while moving furniture and doing their work. I had a 37 year old light above the fireplace, which I never liked, and had always been told it had to stay due to my cathedral ceiling. Russell said track lighting would work and installed the fixture before they left. I would not hesitate to call Bennett's Heat and Air again.

Russell and his helper did a great job of finding the problems and  making sure they were repaired correctly and efficiently!  I was really impressed and would definitely recommend Bennett Electric if they are an indication of the type of work and workers that they employ.

Bennett Electric Company is professional and easy to get hold of. They tell you when they will come out and they will come out. They won't waste your time. They did a good job.

When I called, they were here within the hour and I had my air working again after spending a very warm night. I was very pleased with their work and they are professional people to work with. I will definitely be using them again.

My unit usually always needs freon every year. We knew there was a leak somewhere. This time I believe the servicemen found the leak although it was a little late because the unit had no freon at all. That is why the cost was so high. The cost did include the service call fee also. I always call Bennetts because I have never had bad service from them and I feel that I can trust them.

They were very polite and fixed what was suppose to be fixed. They called before they got here and they had a nice work van. They were clean cut and shaven, very professional. They diagnosed the problem pretty quickly and fixed it.

It went mediocure. They had to do a return visit. I had to call them 7 times to get them out here.

Two employees, Joey and Lorenzo, responded to my call. I have used Bennett Electric Company for years and have always had excellent service. My mother also used them for many years. Lorenzo and Joey knew exactly what to do and were of excellent service for my need. They also gave some advice and tips on how to help the AC unit run more efficient and to keep it performing longer. They were excellent in explaining the problem with my unit and letting me know that I may need to replace some parts in the future. In the future, should I need some work, I hope I could see these two young men again at my house. Bennett Electric will always be my choice.

Tech called prior to the appointment to let me know he was on his way.  When he arrived he introduced himself and went right to work.  Once he finished the job he showed me how the timers worked and stated "if you have any problems call us right away."  He was nice, polite, and took the time to go over the bill with me.  There have been no problems with these timers.

called them to see if they could fix the ice maker in my fridge and they said they could.  they came out the same day and got it done pretty quick.

Well we got up that morning and it was so hot in the house you couldn't breath.  When we called Bennett Electric they said they could get to us the same day.  After only about two hours they were there and went straight to work on the unit.  within about an hour they had us cool again. The guys that came out were very nice and respectful.  Even in the heat of the day they were willing to come out and work till the job was done.  I would definately use Bennett Electric again i really appreciate the work they did for me.
