"Based on other reviews, the work they do must be great. The gentleman that came to our house was also very friendly and courteous. My issue came down to the pricing, which ranged from $900 for the ?band aid? option to $2400 for the platinum option. Without anything to go off of in how fair the pricing is, I decided to not be pressured by the $99 fee they charged for the plumber to come out that would be included in the repairs if I decided to go with them. Instead I wanted to get multiple quotes to see the range of pricing options. These guys weren?t even on the high end, they were in another galaxy with prices. I got the entire problem area replaced by another large/professional company in the area for $500. Highly recommend shopping around and maybe going to these guys last so you don?t throw away $99 like I did."

I was getting a low pressure notification from the sprinkler as well. He thoroughly examined both items and assured me the pressure was fine. They were able to schedule a same day appointment for me which was really nice. Very impressed."

Oversizing a well pressure tank won’t hurt your well system. Larger tanks result in longer and slower pump cycles and consequently fewer startups and longer runtimes, which means the tank may have better longevity. The only drawback to oversizing is efficiency since larger tanks tend to cost more and take up more space.

A leaking well pipe is quite different from if the well itself is leaking. To seal a leaking well, pour a cement mixture or bentonite into the space between the well casing and the borehole wall. The heavier cement collects at the bottom to form a solid seal, pushing lighter materials like mud and fluids up toward the surface. Schedule annual inspections, monitor water pressure, and address minor issues promptly to avoid major repairs.

The precharged pressure tank should start at around 28 psi. The two pressure settings of note are the cut-in and cut-out pressure. The well pump starts when the tank reaches the minimum cut-in pressure. It turns off when the tank reaches the maximum cut-out pressure. The desired water pressure in the household is usually a few psi above the cut-in number. The difference between the cut-in and cut-out pressure settings should be 20 psi. Typical settings for household applications include 20/40, 30/50, and 40/60.

There are many signs to look for that will tell you when your irrigation pump is burned out. This may include low water pressure, sprinklers that sputter a lot before turning on, discolored or dirty water, or a pump that stops working altogether.
