Called the company, telling them we had no water in the house due to a damaged line by another contractor. The dispatcher informed us that there was a tech in the area on another call, and he would be here as soon as he finished. Within 1 hour, two plumbers showed up, looked at the damage, and quoted us a reasonable price. We approved the price and the work began. The plumbers had to chip away parts of the slab to access the damaged line. Upon further inspection, they realized they needed a specialty tool and called the owner of the company, Robert. Robert showed up within a few minutes and assisted them with the remainder of the work, and stayed until the job was completed. The job took about 3 hours, which is faster than I expected and the plumbers cleaned up the area, got paid, and were gone. Overall, the job was finished at an above average pace, quality, and professionalism. I would highly recommend these guys in the future.

I called on Monday about a toilet leaking and replacing 2 bathroom sink faucets. The lady (Heather, I think that was her name) took my information and would have someone call me back later about scheduling. About an hour later the plumber called. Set up the appt. for Thursday 8 am. Thursday morning James arrived about 15-20 minutes early. The helper arrived about 10 min. later. They went right to work and worked steadily for about 2 hours. They had to replace stops & p traps for the sinks as well as install the new faucets, and replace apparatus in the toilet tank. After they were finished they explained what they did and why. I had to ask a question or two to make sure I understood what they were telling me. They didn't mind explaining further. They were very careful to clean up the packaging from the items they used and the old faucets, etc. They left the bathroom with no mess for me to clean up. Later after they left I looked at the bill and something didn't look quite right. I called the office the next morning and spoke with Heather. I explained the problem I found on the bill. She said she would check into it (talk to the plumber when he came into the office) and call back later in the day. She called about 2-3 hours later and told me that they would issue a refund on my credit card for the issue in question. The final price I paid was comparable to what I paid 3 years ago for similar services done in a another bathroom by a different company.

I called them up because our washing machine drain was overflowing every time we did laundry. They were out to my house in just a couple hours after I contacted them. They sent 2 plumbers (Dan and Josh). The plumbers were both polite and professional. They spent a little over an hour with their machine cleaning my drain lines. They didn't leave until we had tested our washing machine to make sure it worked properly.
Overall, everything was great about them and I will happily use them in the future. The price was much more affordable than what I expected and the plumbers communicated with me through the whole process of what they were doing and why. Great experience and I highly recommend.

We called Robert Plumbing to remove the above mentioned items so we could have our floors redone. They quickly removed the items and when called, set up a time to replace the items. They did a great job (even gave me a 5% discount). However, when they reinstalled the sink and toilet, I got charged $60 more than when they took 5 items out.
I was told that it always costs more to install as they have to use silicone for the sink and put a new ring in for the toilet. Sounded right to me but was still unsure as to the huge increase.
After I paid by check and they left, I took a closer look at the bill and noticed they charged me 1.5 hours for the installation when they were there less than 45 minutes!.
I called the office and spoke to Joe who said that wasn't right and had the front office correct it. I was then charged for only an hours' work (they don't charge for any less) and was told they would shred the check I gave them and to send them a new one.
Would I recommend them? You bet as the office knows how to treat customers and their workers did a great job.

I was thoroughly pleased with their promptness, professionalism, and accommodation. I asked for them to call me when the technician was on his way to my house so I could leave work to meet him, and they did. We drove up to my house almost at the exact same time and I did not miss more time from work than expected. Extremely trustworthy as well. The bill was hefty but it was what I would expect considering the work done including diagnostics. I would recommend them to anyone who has any plumbing issue.

Company was easy to contact and they provided free estimate. Appointment time was easy to set up around my schedule. Employee arrived promptly at 8 am and explained what needed to be done, also went over issues that could come up. Nothing did, and work was completed in a timely manner. Also, my final price was lower than estimate given, which was great for me.

They were good. They came out, checked on it and said why I didn't need it. He was really nice. I also called him back after the estimate. He came to my house and undid some of the faucets and cleaned them out and didn't even charge me anything.

MILITARY BEWARE
I have a rental home in Shreveport that I bought when I was stationed there. I was quoted $1900 from Robert Brown Plumbing to fix a leaking pipe under my kitchen sink. I was told the reason it was so high is because the only way to fix that leak was to tear out part of the kitchen floor and part of the kitchen cabinets and the labor for that work ran up the price. When Robert Brown Plumbing came to do the job they changed the original plan to go in through the kitchen instead drilling holes on the outside walls and hung the pipes on the outside of the house and did not do any of the tear out. It was a half days work and they were gone by the time I had the contractor there to give me the estimate for reinstalling the kitchen cabinets and floor.
I agreed to the quote they gave to my insurance company which was $400 to fix the pipes and $1500 for the tear out.
This is also poor workmanship the first time it freezes those PVC pipes are going to break. Not to mention any other weather damage. They are exposed on a shared narrow driveway. I'm going to have to pay to have it done right and have the siding repaired.

These guys were fantastic. They arrived and went to work immediately. It was cold outside but that did nto stop them. Very professional. Took care of everything. I'll definitely use them again. Mr. Brown even stopped by to check on things.

"I am so sorry to read this. I spoke to our master plumber and he did remember speaking to you about your options for a plumbing issue between 6 months to a year ago. Any good contractor, upon noticing problem is going to continue happening, will open a discussion of what can be done to resolve the problem for the long term. Continuing to repair an issue is not a solution if the problem will happen again a month or 6 months down the road. A plumbing proposal/bid is not a contract until both parties agree to the terms and is more of an option, not a command of what to choose. This is why we were confused to hear about your dissatisfaction with a bid and honestly concerned because it stems from an alleged accusation of dishonesty from an unnamed competitor. This competitor may not have the experience of our master plumber, discussed the same scenarios, have made the same observations concerning the same issue, and the competitor may be practicing unfair competition practices. The proposed price in question was just one of a few scenarios given. This scenario is where we would have replaced the majority of your homes plumbing (all water and drain piping, involving) and would have been a major overhaul, hence the price. Again, this was not the only option discussed and could be classified as a worst case scenario. Customer satisfaction is a priority for Robert Brown Plumbing, and we would have loved to have resolved any questions or concerns you may have had at the time if we had simply been contacted. We do apologize for any slight you may have felt and that you did not feel that you could contact us at the time to discuss the difference of opinion by this other company."

The pipe was under the ground in concrete for 27 years did know that though the drainage was going in the sewage.

I called to schedule a repair at approximately 6pm the night before, and was told they'd have someone out first thing in the morning. Two repairmen arrived shortly after 8am. I explained the problem and they went to work right away. In just over 2 hours, the cracked pipe was fixed and my water turned on. The problem/repairs were thoroughly explained to me. This is the 3rd time I've use the services of Robert Brown Plumbing and the 3rd time I've been completely satisfied.

I'm a new homeowner, so I'm a complete newbie when it comes with home repairs. I called this company based on the reviews here on Angie List. I set up an appointment, and the plumber Dan came to repair the leaks. Dan was on time, but even better, he was patient, kind, and professional. He gave me some pointers to consider as a new homeowner too.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely use them again.
