"Holywood LLC laid vinyl flooring throughout our house including our stairs. They completed the project quickly. The price was fair. It looks amazing. It’s been 2 years and we’ve had no problems with the floor. We are very happy with the job done and the person who installed was professional and friendly. We would absolutely recommend this company to anyone."

"Mixed. The team was friendly and fast. They organized my linen closet which was above and beyond. And they left my home smelling fresh and clean. They lost 2 stars when, upon a close inspection, I was disappointed that floors and baseboards were not well-cleaned. I paid extra for a "deep" cleaning and issues such as floors, tile grout and baseboards were discussed in advance. My kitchen floor did not look like it was vacuumed or washed at all. It still had visible loose dirt and the grout was untouched."

Floor Polishers questions, answered by experts

To properly maintain natural stone surfaces, use pH-neutral cleaners for regular cleaning and avoid acidic substances that can cause damage or etching. It is also important to reseal the surfaces periodically, especially for porous stones, to protect the finish, maintain appearance, and ensure longevity.

Yes, options like MDF or polyurethane require less upkeep while maintaining style.

Like any other type of flooring, you will need to keep up with regular maintenance on your epoxy floors to keep them in the best shape possible; however, it is not like hardwood floors inside a house, which require special care and more consistent maintenance.

Just make sure you use the right cleaning tools and solutions. Avoid using harsh tools like scrub brushes or hard-bristled brooms. You should also skip cleaners that are highly acidic, including white vinegar.

Maintenance includes regular cleaning with appropriate products, periodic sealing to protect against staining and wear, and addressing minor issues before they escalate.

You can use dish soap mixed with warm water to clean just about any type of flooring, and while vinegar is a great addition to some floor cleaners, it’s not a good idea to use it on wood flooring or engineered wood flooring. Vinegar is very acidic, and it can gradually eat away at the protective finish on wood floors. If you’re cleaning laminate, tile, concrete, or vinyl floors, feel free to use vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, substitute the vinegar for olive oil.
