"I have hired this company as a weekly service. I know I'll be increasing my service opinions to 5 as soon as we clear up a couple of items to complete. Frank and Cheryl are great to work with and good to keep in touch. I like them a lot. Easy to work with!"

"Reed was super helpful and informative. He did a great job clearing our leaves from a large magnolia tree in our yard. He even consulted on some future work that we’d like to have done to our yard! I’d recommend him to anyone that would listen. Great personality, great work, great customer service."

"I am incredibly pleased to have hired Turf Bros to revitalize and beautify our landscaping. Rhasean and his team did an impeccable job manicuring our rose bushes, flower beds, and overall lawn maintenance. He is highly professional, honest, and a delight to do business with. I would highly recommend his service to anyone who is particular and wants extraordinary landscape and or lawn care services."

"These guys were very professional and knowledgeable. The previous company had told me things about my pool that were simply inaccurate information. The pool was fixed in < 30 minutes AND they advised on the correct way of working the equipment. As a result of their expertise i've gotten these guys on a quarterly schedule for checking things out. I just purchased this home and had no clue about how to work a pool. These guys were very understanding and professional..."

"I have used Acadian on other projects and was afraid this repair job would be too small for them but I was happy to hear they were sending Javier (who has worked on my home before and is awesome) to come repair the ceiling. I was worried the entire ceiling would have to come down but he was able to remove just the area around the crack and replace the sheetrock, patched it and repainted the ceiling. It was a 3 day job and I was expecting to pay nearly double what they charged me so I was happy!"

Aquarium Services FAQs, answered by experts

Your septic tank may be full or clogged if you notice household drains that are backed up, draining slowly, or gurgling; greener, lusher grass around the septic system; pooling water in your yard; or smelling sewage odors outdoors. You can contact a local septic tank pro to inspect your septic system and pump your tank.

Several things can ruin a septic tank over time, including dumping harsh chemicals (like bleach and ammonia), pesticides, and paint thinners down your drain because they can kill the bacteria in your septic tank. You should also make sure to only flush waste and toilet paper in your toilet—otherwise, you could clog your system.

If you notice a septic smell in the house, you can either call a septic system repair company or a plumber. These professionals have the proper licenses and equipment to investigate the pipes and septic tank while keeping your family safe from sewage gas exposure and raw sewage leaks. They will be able to find the problem as soon as possible and get it fixed so that your home can get back to smelling fresh again.

A gurgling toilet usually doesn’t mean that your septic tank is full. If waste can’t drain into a full septic tank, you’ll see water and sewage backing up into your fixtures, but the air that causes gurgling is a result of poor venting. You are more likely to have a clog in your vent stack or a damaged air admittance valve.

Your septic tank naturally contains the beneficial bacteria it needs to function, so you typically don't need to add more. However, if you wish to replenish the bacteria, you can use natural methods. For example, you can add three overripe tomatoes to your garbage disposal or flush 1/4 ounce of active yeast down the toilet every three months. While store-bought septic enzymes and chemicals are available, many experts consider them unnecessary and potentially harmful. The most effective way to maintain a healthy bacteria population is to avoid using chemical drain cleaners, which can kill the good bacteria in your system.
