"Great workmanship and communication throughout the complete renovation of a Katrina derelict. The entire project was finished in just a few months which even spanned the holidays at the end of the year. From start to finish, they were extremely and efficient and the final product was amazing ! I would definitely hire Mike, OB, Jack, and their entire team again !!"

"Mr.Harper did an excellent job. He was very prompt seeing us within a day and had the job finished by the end of the week. He and his crew were very trustworthy and reputable, I would strongly recommend them. He has the rest of the work here on this remodel.

"Installers were prompt and worked efficiently.  New installer needed a bit more professional training, since he asked if he could smoke an e-cigarette inside.  When I said "no", he was polite and smoked outside.  At least he asked.  Installers looked a bit "rough" but they wore company shirts and did a good job.  My only problem with this company was that their hours were inconvenient, although they made arrangements to be open when I requested.

"The provider is very responsive and keep the site clean and well organized. They gave me a quote about 10% less than similar service provided by Lowes (which has spoiled contractors you have to wait 5-6 weeks to arrive).

Basement Remodel questions, answered by experts

The cost of finishing a basement is about $18,400 on average. As you can see, the framing portion of this project costs less, because you’re essentially just dealing with laying the foundation for a finished basement. The finishing portion of the project involves a lot more intricate work and design, as well as high-end materials.

Professional remodelers streamline the process, manage permits, and handle renovations efficiently—significantly mitigating risk while maintaining standards.

Yes. Renovating your basement has a return on investment (ROI) of 75%, meaning your remodel investment will significantly increase the value of your home. Besides the ROI, your family can enjoy a larger, more usable space while you live there.

You technically can paint wires in a basement ceiling, but there are several important safety and code considerations. It's safe to paint non-metallic sheathed cable as long as the labeling remains visible. You can also paint low-voltage wires and conduit and junction boxes to help them blend into your basement.

However, you should not paint damaged or deteriorated wiring is a fire hazard because it poses a fire hazard. The same goes for painting over high-heat wires that connect to heat-generating appliances or systems. Be sure to avoid painting multiple coats onto any wires, as that traps heat and poses fire risks.

You should plan on waiting at least a year and ideally two to three years after construction before finishing your basement. This will give the foundation time to settle in response to the weight of your home and the expansion of the surrounding soil. You can then repair your foundation and seal any cracks as needed before finishing it to reduce your risk of future leaks or other issues.
