To NOT have lightning suppression installed is significant risk in my mind based on my location in New Jersey. By the way...installation is part art, such as bends in cable are not more than 90 degrees. It's not just about running grounded cables. This installation in conjunction with surge protection on my electrical panel performed by my electrician and cable protection gives me significant piece of mind that all my appliances and electronics are protected from lightning and any potential surge generated by a near strike. I’m a hardworking person who doesn’t like to leave projects half finished or looking sloppy, I can be a bit of a perfectionist. I’ve always fixed and built almost everything I needed myself and I take pride in being self sufficient. I’ve been an electrician for a year and half now and before that I was fabricating aerators for private residences. I have a wife and two children, so I can handle the chaos of a whole house remodel even if you decide to alter any details halfway through.

"After looking for someone for a very long time I came across Joe on Angie's List.  He said he was about a week out and the next week he called as promised.  The jets had not worked in a couple of years but when we powered it up, everything worked!  Joe took the time to inspect the threads on a nozzle that popped out on start up.  One was broken and he said he'd try to find another nozzle.  He reinstalled the nozzle and it has stayed put so far.  Joe provided a lot of information and said he didn't see the need to open up the panel at this point since all was working.  I agreed.  If the problem reappears there is no doubt I will call Joe.  A trust worthy good guy.
