"Repair Clinic sent me a water intake valve that had some scuff marks and an unnecessary fixture (which I thought nothing of, assuming it had been removed from a new dishwasher). When the part did not fix my dishwasher's issue, I ordered a circulation pump, which also failed to fix the issue, so I decided to return both parts. Repair Clinic blamed me for the scuff marks and extra fixture, which is unacceptable. They referenced their return policy which states that parts which have been installed cannot be returned, and denied me any form of refund. For all I know, the water intake valve was defective, and I have no recourse. Don't put any stock in the "No-Hassle 365-Day Returns" they proudly tout on their homepage. Instead, expect finger-pointing and uncaring dismissal. You are better off with one of their many competitors."

Carpetgrass is a low-maintenance grass requiring little fertilization that thrives in subprime growing conditions. However, regular mowing is necessary to avoid the growth of unsightly seed stalks, and you may have to water it frequently to prevent drying out the soil. That includes watering the grass over dry winters to help keep it healthy, and it may start dying out in particularly cold climates where it grows poorly. Carpetgrass can also be vulnerable to some types of turf fungus, so it’s important not to overthatch. 

Yes, it’s worth aerating a lawn. Even the most diligent mowing, watering, and fertilizing schedule is not enough if the roots are not able to benefit from the care and nutrients you’re giving them. Even a lawn that’s already healthy can benefit from aeration because the more air that circulates around the roots, the stronger and healthier it will grow. 

Water your yard a little more deeply after a drought for about two weeks (while still avoiding overwatering). The frequency of lawn aeration depends on factors such as soil type, grass variety, and lawn usage. In general, it is recommended to aerate cool-season grasses like Kentucky bluegrass or fescue once a year during the fall. On the other hand, warm-season grasses such as Bermuda or zoysia benefit from aeration in late spring or early summer. However, it's essential to assess your lawn's specific needs, as signs of compaction and reduced grass health may indicate the need for aeration outside these general guidelines.
